I don't doubt you. But as of right now, for single sim devices bought direct from htc, the update hasn't been released.

Noticed that using the fingerprint sensor to open the PayPal, Ulster Bank app now doesn't work since updating to Oreo.
Anyone else having issues with this?

Only odd thing I've noticed thus far is that the HTC Flip Clock widget appears to be squished somewhat after the update. Any thoughts?

If u long press on it can you then resize it?

No, I can’t. It’s odd.

Also, the icon shapes - I’d like to have the option of changing them from the new default (squircle, i think) and I’ve done a bit of research online about how to do that and have ‘become a developer’ (tap 7 times on build menu) and that was supposed to give me a new option of ‘change icon shape’, but it hasn’t.

Any thoughts on that?

Just finished updating to Oreo and fingerprint sensor working on the PayPal and Ulster Bank apps for me.

I've lost the ability to use edge sense to activate voice to text feature.
It has nothing to do with the update as its stopped working some time ago.

I have attached a screenshot of my settings and everything looks right.

when i use edge sense inside a whatsapp or messenger nothing happens i just get the blue dots on the screen but nothing else.
when I'm not in a messaging apps edge sense works as normal.

does anyone have any ideas to get voice to text back up and running, really missing that feature.

Bluetooth audio sound had stopped working since Oreo update. The Bluetooth is pairing on the car ok but it's not playing audio sounds, it has no problem play media sound though.

I've had no issues with Bluetooth.

Maybe a VW compatibility issue. .

Could be. Mine connected with three completely different bluetooth devices without issue.

Got it sorted. Had to carry out a factory reset. Lucky for backup, minimum setup after reset
