Do you have a "work wardrobe"? I know you said you meet the clients at the door wearing lingerie, would you keep those outfits just for work, or would you ever wear them with someone you were dating? I know I hate wearing my work gear once I get home!!

Do people ever ask you to roleplay different scenarios? As you only see regulars now, are there any who want to "pretend" that it's not an escort/client relationship (once the cash is handed over of course!)?

Thanks for doing this, great AMA.

Yes I have a work wardrobe and yes I wouldn't mind wearing something like that for a guy in my personal life

    Hey,

    When did you work last?

Apart from the financial reward, do you enjoy any other part of it?

If your identity or profession was ever compromised would you quit or would you adapt and continue?

I'm not answering the first question! Why do you need to know that ?

Going by some of the questions I've been asked on this AMA I reckon a lot of people are trying to figure out which escort I am !

Yes I'd quit if my identity was compromised

Ever had a woman look for your services? Would you consider a woman or would that be a straight up "no thank you"?

Perhaps you've answered all the questions you possibly can and it may be time to call this to a halt just in case eyiu are correct.
For what it's worth, i think it's been (for the most part, an excellent Q&A ) and wish you all the best for your future, both workwise and personally

Lara thanks again for answering so many questions. Very brave of you to put yourself forward. Best of luck in the future. Stay safe x

I dont *need* to know, it was just banal curiosity.

    Good AMA, fair play.

Hi LaraLushhh. I saw in one of the previous answers that your motivating factors for getting involved in this work were Sex (you enjoy it) and Money.

I've read/seen some interviews in newspapers/magazines/TV through the years with many escorts mentioning that they want to "make hay while the sun shines" and then retire early with a health bank balance.

From your answers, it appears you're not choosing to work "flat out" (probably not the best description):D - do you think you'll regret it later i.e. that you didn't make more money in these years?

No I don't want to do it full time at the moment, that could change but at the moment part time suits me fine

    Fascinating read.

I think you come across as level headed, very business like and matter of fact. You seem disciplined which would definitely make what you do easier.
Being able to switch off is a must, I'm sure. Same as not telling friends etc...sure all it takes is one person to blab and your life is no longer your own.

I have no questions, they've all been asked(some repeatedly;) )
Look after yourself and keep smiling.
Certainly you've opened some eyes and minds here, which can only be a good thing.

Are you able to charge more just because you're Irish or you get similar money as non Irish girls?

Did you always work from a hotel before you had regulars or were you based in an apartment?
If you had an apartment, was it the same place you lived in or was it only for work?

Hi laura, bit late coming to the thread as I just seen it, Great AMA, fair play to you. Most of my question's were asked & answered.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,800 ✭✭✭Senna

Are you doing this just to facilitate a comfortable life now, or are you thinking more long term and it's going towards a nest egg for the future?

If this money stream ended tomorrow, would you be happy just to continue the other job you have?

Maybe you could do some part-time work as well for boards and be like a Dr. Ruth type person what with some of the questions that were asked here tongue.png

    I've always worked from hotels

    I've always worked from hotels

    Not surprised!
Working in the property business, and the rates landlords charge escorts per week for an apartment, it would be cheaper to stay in a hotel. Especially when moving around.

How long is it between appointments? For example, let's say guy 1 is from 2-3. What time is the next guy? Ever have 2 guys bump into each other, one leaving and one arriving?

I think Lara said she pays for the hotel for the night plus if everyone is using condoms and showering, what need would there be to change sheets so often?

Your doing it wrong if you there's no mess.

Such an interesting AMA and fair play to you for making money from 'the oldest profession going' as they call it! If you can manage to leave your work at the door then all power to you.

Have any hotels ever called to the room or enquired/ hinted to know what you were doing? Do you use high end or mid range hotels?
Staff on the front desk must have an idea if you use the same places, does this not worry you?

Thanks for the honest and enlightening answers so far!

Since you have only regular clients now, what's the average amount of visits per client per year?

If you weren't doing your current profession, what type of work/occupation would you like to do?

Finally, it's the first night/day of you starting to become an escort. If you had the option to go back in time to that point, would you go through with that first time, knowing what you know now, or would you say, no, I don't want to do this?

Do you have difficulty in explaining your absences from home/base for a number of days (per week?) at a time?

Do you ever have a pep in your step going to work as you know a certain client is calling and you will enjoy it?

Have you ever had to take a sick day and let clients down?

Have you had friends/colleagues who used the term wh*re, for whatever reason but in a disparaging manner, and if so, how did you react to that?

It depends, it could be half an hour or even two hours between clients

I'm going to end up getting an infraction for answering questions on Lara's behalf because she's already answered them (several times) if I stay much longer, so I'm off.

Lara, thanks a mill for a great AMA.

On the hotel aspect, receptionist and managers will know what's going on, unless it's a very busy hotel, staff will normally notice people going up to bedrooms when they haven't seen them at the reception desk.
If someone looks out of place, they will normally watch the corridor cctv to see what room they go to.

Best advice is, pick the busiest hotels as possible, always book the room for two people, if the hotels entrance and access to the bedrooms is slighly away from reception, all the better. Lastly, once the receptionist welcomes you with your name before you've opened you mouth, it's time to find a new hotel :)
