Can you rent the hotel rooms for an hour or two, or do you have to pay the nightly rate? (That must eat into your profits)

I haven't had time to read through all the posts, just a few at the start and I have two questions. It seems that you would continue doing this, even if you had a partner, is that correct? And secondly, if you did continue doing this secretly, would it not feel like cheating?

Thanks for taking the time to post on here, it's an interesting read so far.

Maybe you should read through the thread, as they've been answered. But since you are terribly busy, I'll recap for you. The answers the guest gave were:
    1. No
    2. Not applicable.

Thanks for this AMA Op. My question is; what was your perception of prostitution/ escorting before you started working in the industry, and how does it compare with your current view of the work, knowing what you know now?

What kind of notice do you get with a client? Would they text on a Sunday to arrange a meeting during the week? Or would they chance phoning you in the morning to see if you could meet them that day?
(I guess I'm just curious about the punters: is paid-for sex an indulgence they look forward to over a period of a few days, or is it a 'I really need to blow off some steam Right Now' kinda thing.)

Great AMA, by the way. Brilliant insight. Thank you so much!

If someone pays for an hour do they get an hour or is it just up til jizz oclock? Like, could yer man not have argued to go again?

    :D Jizz O Clock !!

But that is a good question from before, what about changing sheets in the hotel ?

Does the room have enough spares ?

I think Lara said she pays for the hotel for the night plus if everyone is using condoms and showering, what need would there be to change sheets so often?

Is there a lot of pressure to maintain yourself physically to the point you would consider surgery etc ?

What percentage of your fee is profit when you take out all your expenses?

You seem very unconcerned with regards STI's. With the number of people you get through, even if fully protected, someone may have a sore on the inside of their mouth you wouldn't notice and could pass on serious infection. I'd imagine the type of guy to use escorts would be in the higher risk category of carrying something too.

Is it genuinely something you feel you have in check or is there an element of burying your head in the sand?

You can get tested every day but it doesn't prevent you from picking something up.

You said she seemed very 'unconcerned' with STDs. Clearly, since she gets tested regularly, she is not 'unconcerned'.

I think with safe sex one is quite safe.

Im always amazed at the notion that sex workers are assumed to be carrying an STI - its probably actually safer than to hook up with a stranger one saturday night.

Not really, anything from herpes to hiv can be passed on through contact with an open sore.

Very few Irish women contract HIV from heterosexual activity.
It is something to be aware of , be cognizant of and manage the risk of and I'm sure the OP is.

This is such an interesting read, thanks Laura.

I should imagine setting parameters can be challenging, especially when someone views themselves as a paying customer. What are your parameters of acceptability and when do you make this clear to the punter?

For example, do you allow anal? Or BDSM? How far will you go? And how do you get this across to the punter? Do you set out some ground rules before anything happens, irrespective of them having been to you before?

I find it interesting that you'd be so reluctant to tell a partner of your past. I find this thread interesting and you a decent person. It's just that I'd not really care if my wife had been an escort before. I'd be more upset that she felt unable to mention it. My wife, before we married, told me things about her past that she was really upset/ashamed about, and was worried I'd think worse of her. It was utterly irrelevant to me, other than that she was upset. I found it strengthened our bond, well, it did mine.
Do you not think that a future partner, if judgemental enough to let it affect your relationship, would be the wrong person to be with anyway?
Thanks for an interesting and honest read.

I would never tell anyone. Ever. I don't want my family ever finding out and who's to know he wouldn't tell someone.

I may have misinterpreted but I'm pretty sure she said earlier she doesn't do this work every day.

Lara, how many clients do you have in total?

I don't actually know but I'll have a count later on and come back to you

When a new client contacts you what is the vetting procedure?

Hi Lara this has been an eye opener, thanks for your honesty. Would you ever pay a guy for sex?

No I don't think I'd ever have the need to really

Would you ever meet a client on a boat instead of a hotel room if a higher price was offered, or you would refuse...because of the implication?

Are you ever contacted by women seeking your services or is that off-limits in your advertisement?

    I've been contacted by couples

You said earlier that you get regular beauty treatments are completely body confident, do you go to the gym regularly? Do you ever get sick of having to keep yourself yourself always plucked & polished? What do you do between waxes!?
What body routine do you have to maintain while in your line of work?

I don't go to the gym at all actually no.
No I don't get sick of always being polished up. Ive always had beauty treatments done even before I started this. I'm a real girly girl so it dosnt bother me having all that done.

Valid question, this is a business after all.

I know hotels (none in ireland) that will rent by the hour, now they are mostly airport hotels but still..

Hi Lara, thanks for taking time to reply to our questions.

I have a couple of questions on aspects I'm curious about:

    - Of the single, younger clients, have you ever wondered why they elect to pay for sex? Has any of them ever explained their reasons, maybe in a sheer rant (I assume some clients also like to chat/vent some frustration with you)?

    - Do you feel your professional services to be beneficial on a social level, in the sense that were escorts not available at all, many of these men would stand no chance of getting any sex in any way - opening up the way to depression and other psychological issues?

Again, many thanks for your time - wish you all the best, we need more people with such an open minded, independent view of life.

I see a lot of guys who , and I don't like sounding mean but they probably don't get sex unless they pay for it to be honest. For one reason or another.
