He hasn't been convicted of anything more. It's moronic to argue anything else.

But everyone knows his role in the death of Veronica Guerin. Just because he got away with murder, doesn't mean we need to televise him. The Late Late is not hard hitting any more and Tubridy would fail miserably at such an interview. He's not a reformed criminal, he's a criminal that enjoys the limelight, you and others would like to feed that.

The only reason that this was an idea is because they wanted everyone to watch it, break some records maybe. Human decency out the window. Why not have a little respect for Guerin's family and friends?

The only bit of sense you've made since arriving on the thread.

We get it weldonihio. For you Gilligan is a misunderstood hero who has put his life on the line to import a small amount of cannabis (20 tonnes as someone else pointed out) that a very small amount of people feel should be legal.
And nobody ever in the history of cannabis use has ever suffered any ill effects, and cannabis use never ever leads to the abuse of harder drugs.
That all rubbish made up by right wing conservatives.
And for this he was fitted up by the filth for the murder of some bimbo reporter who probably shot herself in the head.
And he deserves a chance to set the record straight on TV.
    Of course.
    And I'm the moron.

    If the cap fits.

He hasn't been "fitted up" for any murder. You are rambling on making arguments against things that no one said. Cannabis is not addictive. Cannabis is not a Class A drug. No one has ever died from taking Cannabis. No one in this thread has said that Gilligan was a misunderstood hero except YOU.

He likes the limelight so much that he turned down the interview.

Everyone knows, yet there is no evidence.

I'm sure Gilligan would appreciate it if he knew that he had such a staunch supporter and avid fan here on boards.
You really should go over to his OFFICIAL Facebook page and join all his other acolytes in massaging the ego of your idol.

Yawn, stating cold hard facts now makes someone a staunch supporter and avid fan??

Well you've spent the entire weekend devotedly defending him, so...if the cap fits... (maybe he'll send you an autographed picture).

No I haven't. I've corrected the nonsense you've posted. Cannabis being a class A drug, cannabis killing people etcetera etcetera etcetera.
