Was Warburton not the tackler there?

Thought Italy might get in again there. They look knackered though.

No release there from the tackler, should have been a penalty the other way I thought...

Running slow and upright straight at the defence, over and over... How are you going to make progress like that?

Italy have this if they stop giving away silly penalties. Wales look lacklustre

22 on for Wales just at the end there.....is Biggar off?

Picamoles and Parisse giving No 8 master classes so far this weekend.

I trust our friend penypont is enjoying Wales rip Italy to shreds...

We see if Italy will fade in the 2nd 40.

How do you accurately rank Parisse in world rugby? Phenomenal player.

Italy are tiring though. Normally, they'd be done after 60 mins.

Italy should try a few drop goals if they can.l'd fear for Italy with this ref, his subordination to Wales at the lineout encroachment was shocking. He seems to be reffing Italy only as well, you can see this by the direction of his looks.

He's been nagging his ribs for the past 20 minutes or so.

Consistently one of the best 8s in the game and a class above the rest of Italy.

I have my grievances too but that's a bit much.

That's the way it looks to me too......not that I know a lot.

    Awful bloody game though.

Haven't seen that level of movement before the throw that often in the pro game.

I think he took a knee or a boot to his ribs.

Don't think Biggar coming off will worry the Welsh. Sam Davies has been phenomenal this season.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 36,275 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Sam Davies could be just what they need to pick a few holes for the Williamses and Davieses.

Also telling Italy to use it at the scrum after 2secs when they have a clearly dominant scrum.

Wales go beyond the ball so much at the breakdown

    How is it legal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,078 ✭✭✭✭vienne86

Italy making a righ mess of clearing their lines there...McClean all over the shop under pressure.

  • Moderators, Arts Moderators Posts: 36,275 Mod ✭✭✭✭pickarooney

Davies conceding two turnovers already. Settle down, chungfla.

Nothing wrong with that. If the ball is blatantly available at the base of the set scruem then it has to be played. The ref isn't there to judge the pick up based on how strong or otherwise a drive may be.

Why is this treatment on the pitch slowing the game down?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,658 ✭✭✭Kanrith

Welsh player clearly off his feet coming into the rook there.

Does Doyle have any intention of reffing Wales today?
