Has Ali now deleted her twitter account? Or perhaps I've been blocked after replying to a tweet from meaghers congratulating Grace..

I also noted how Rosie Connolly never acknowledged Graces win on her Snapchat but congratulated Dorieen Geraghty (spelling?!) When it was the first time she met her and herself and Grace were big buds.
I've actually gained so much respect for Rosie. I never thought too much of her before, I always thought her a bit vain but she's done a full 360 in my books the past few months!

Yep she seems to have deleted it, says user doesn't exist!
Well that's one way to handle negativity!
She'll be back after her little jaunt to LA I'd say.

How mature 😥 at least Grace had the decency to apologise, shame the same can't be said for others involved. Poor Rosemary, I really felt for her today!

She said in those snaps she was taking a social media break so maybe deleted everything. Bit dramatic if you ask me!

Honestly, she's coming across as a right little madam. How old is she? My 2yr old has more maturity, and she can throw a epic tantrum! Lol

What did Ali say on twitter before she deleted it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,295 ✭✭✭Lollipop95

Ali isn't coming across the best, that snapchat she just posted up was bitchy. She said if you slam a person and an event then you can hardly expect to be cheered. Ironic thing is that in Rosemary's post she clearly stated it wasn't personal attack and she thought Ali was great. At least Grace apologised - she arguably took the flack for Ali and Vogue. And I read that Ali turned 27 last year

Ali still stating on SC that RM is the one in the wrong and she brought it on herself!!! That's what you get for slagging off the awards and the people running it. Wow... Jesus that girl is a weapon! With that attitude she will fall fast in the business world.

When I first read this I thought you were talking about Rosemary falling in the busines world and was about to reply saying why is Rosemary a weapon? Then I reread it :p

I haven't seen what was said by Ali but that Vogue one was the worst of the lot last night! At least Grace had the sense to apologise however sincere it was or wasn't. I'm actually shocked at vogues responses on twitter. As for Ali deleting her twitter it's very childish. Reminds me of my 3 year old if he misbehaves he hides behind the couch so he doesn't get into trouble... speaks volumes!!

I always viewed Goss.ie as the Irish TMZ and we all know how many scruples those guys have...

Let's say she's right (*cough*) If Rosemary shared her post during the event and people reacted to it, that just shows how bored they were that they had to check social media..

Completely agree about Vogue, she was indeed very bitchy, #meangirlbehaviour in the true sense of the word! I'm not all THAT surprised though. She enraged the body building and bikini athleticism industry a few months ago by presenting an extremely ill informed documentary about the sport. Many involved in the industry spoke out at how terrible she made it come across. But at risk of going off topic, that discussion is for a different day!

I saw RMC resharing the post during the awards, with the relevant hashtag for the event, and didn't know whether to think she was mad to or just plain didn't give a toss! I didn't for a second think though that the response to it would come from the event participants themselves, I thought she might get a bit of flak via twitter about it at worst.

If you look grace did get an awful lot of crap about all this and vouge didn't get any really in comparison. Some people went a bit to far I think on what they said in grace. It's wasn't just her it was the all the people there who booed and laughed about Rosemary! I hope they all feel bad about it as well! Not sticking up for grace at all but she is the only one getting any grief! I hope her apology was genuine and she realises what she did wasn't nice, that she just didn't say sorry because she is losing so many followers!! Backtracking!

Wish i had been following this thread!

I read RM's blog when it went up but never heard of Ali or goss.ie before this.
I fully expect the passive aggressiveness ftom vogue and holly but marissa? I'd say the previous remarks about how stupid the term girlboss is was why she got involved. I only ever heard her say it before.

Would anyone like to PM me the name of the person RM was referring to who showed up uninvited? Curiosity got the better of me. :) thanks gals!

Vogue was adamant on twitter earlier that some people just "couldn't take a joke". She's also being rudely dismissive to people's tweets. A wonderful host. /s

So catty! I can't believe Grace! She portrays herself as just a normal, nice person? But she thinks she's being "funny" saying Rosemary's name like that just to fit in?? She has balled and cried on Snapchat so many times for people saying stuff about her and hurting her! There was a big hoo-ha over something said about her on a breast feeding forum and everyone rallied to console her then she goes and makes Rosemary feel the way she has. Her Snapchat is a load of crap anyway I don't know how she won 'Best Influencer' - All it consists of is baby spam, her having a lazy day and doing sweet F All! She is a mother - how would she feel in years to come if someone publically made fun of her daughter like she has done? Terrible role model. Her daughter should be so proud! And coming on to Snapchat crying with her crocodile tears trying to make people feel sorry for her? Please get a grip! You made your bed so you have to lie in it!

Spot on! What vogue actually said was worse but I think it's because of the whole to-do Grace started last year with the breastfeeding group and the formula thing, claiming to be bullied that people have their backs up. I seen a few pretty awful comments on her Instagram about her weight which is disgusting! I don't know why vogue isn't getting equal amounts of flack but maybe people are more shocked by grace as she always came across as such a nice girl!

I've never followed this Grace mostly because I want to keep my SC stories to a minimum, but surely the currys fiasco has made people realise she's a liar not your friend. How much more do people need?
I commented previously where I thought it was nice that bloggers especially the Dublin crowd seem supportive and friendly. It just goes to show that they're all totally fake.
RM does like a bit of drama, and sitting poised on twitter waiting for her name to come up on the night seems a bit sad. That doesn't mean she shouldn't have written the post though.

I don't think Vogue is getting as much slack because I don't think anyone is that bothered about her really, are they? Sorry if that sounds mean but I could just care less about what Vogue Williams has to say about anything.

I actually don't think it's because of the breastfeeding issue that Grace is taking the heat. I think the main reason is Grace has been very upset in the past about getting abuse or mean comments from people and she got a lot of sympathy and support at the time. Then a few weeks later there she is ganging up with the mean team being unpleasant to RM, with no regard for how much she is going to upset RM. I think people feel she's a hypocrite for it and that how she is on Snapchat is all an act. That her behaviour towards RM is her unflattering true colours.

I think Vogue is a bit removed from the Irish blogger scene as she spends so much time in the UK, so people don't feel invested in her or are not really that interested in her. There is no expectation around her.

That's just my take on it. Maybe others feel differently.

People commenting on her weight etc is out of line - that has absolutely nothing to do with what happened. I think people are just miffed with Grace because she was credited with an award for the 'Best Influencer' and I don't see how that award can be justified. She said herself she was trying to be funny - there are other ways to be funny and witty without making smart comments about Rosemary. She harps on about bullying etc so much herself & cries on Snapchat, goes on the missing list for a few days, gets everyone to feel sorry for her and then comes back! She's going to do the exact same thing now!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,039 ✭✭✭✭retro:electro

From what I can see the people leaving personal comments on Grace's Instagram have let themselves down, they should have just stuck to the point of the argument and not gotten personal. Now all they've done is added fuel and have given grace ammo and the ability to have a pity party over the personal comments. She's gonna turn all of this around and make herself the victim.
The principal of Rosemary's message has been lost amongst all of the nastiness.

It was widely predicted here that this would end with Grace crying on Snapchat and she has remained true to form.

I think the backlash is particularly bad after last nights events because people have had enough of her over the last while - she does not seem to be able to admit where she is wrong without pulling a major victim card

However I feel this reflects very badly on Ali and Goss.ie - the last week has been totally bananas I think in terms of the reaction from her and her associates. she doused her twitter in 'positivity only' passive aggressive messages and then allowed that negative totally unnecessary bitchiness at her event. A true professional would have ignored the whole thing - it's embarrassing.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Height of unprofessionalism from the two of them.
