I don't use fake tan or anything but if I did, I'd be steering well clear of cocoa brown products, that's for sure. I know it won't make a sod of difference but still :pac:

Is it sad that I'm dying/hoping Rosemary wins her category! I voted for her to, before the drama!

A little disappointing I think. I thought they would receive a nicer selection of goodies. Most of that stuff bloggers already have thrown in a drawer at home!

...how many of them actually turned up to collect the award? Already saw via twitter that Baz sent a video in, and I highly doubt Graham showed up...

After ALL that, Holly stayed home in her pyjamas, Rosanna left after an hour to go to another party, Pippa and Suzanne both went out to dinners and Joanne is a no-show too! (Yes, I do follow them all...!)

I think it looked like a very amateurish evening.

What happened make up fairy? She was adamant she was going saying it all over her social media platforms for the last week or so.

It's a mystery!! Just didn't show up and no snaps since early this afternoon. Very curious to find out why..!

I watched it but didn't notice anything. What was the dig? In the snaps by one blogger I've seen Vogue looks to be reading off cue cards. Surprised the Makeup Fairy didn't turn up but wasn't she in London?

She made such a big deal about saying she was going straight from the airport (getting changed in the loo) and going straight to the event. Curious. Surprised not to see Suzanne J there either.

The Owner wrote the cue cards for Vogue and the presenters so wouldn't be surprised

She said something like "we've had enough negativity *cough Rosemary cough* & everyone laughed 🙄

Oh that is fairly childish :/ I think (may be wrong) that Ali writes some of the speeches so maybe that's why but I presume Vogue is good friends with her so decided to throw it out there about Rosemary probably. I know So Sue Me gets some criticism, especially on here (I love her personally!) but in fairness to her, she has never responded to any of it. Apart from that University Times article a few years ago which I think deserved to be addressed as it was very bitterly and personally attacking her. Don't know what Holly Carpenter was doing getting involved tbh

I'm really surprised too! Kept mentioning it all week. Glad Doireann Garrihy won, she's very entertaining and a breath of fresh air. Sinéads style would have been fine to win that category too, and she was genuinely super excited about being nominated and everything.

And Grace gets Influencer of the year

Hillarious. Could she have failed harder in evvvvvveey area of her role over the last few months?

Proves how much of a joke these awards are IMO.

Can't believe the make up fairy didn't go or Suzanne Jackson, they didn't win anything so it was probably to save face.

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't Rosie Con and faces by grace very good friends they are both at the gossies and not one snap together.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,295 ✭✭✭Lollipop95

I've also just seen that Doireann Garrihy won 'Best Snapchatter' which I am happy about, her impressions of the bloggers are amazingly accurate! :D She opened her speech with 'Hello lovelies' :D The bloggers also seem to actually take her impresions in good fun, unlike other impressions. I remember about a year ago, So Sue Me commented on a post of a blogger impersonating her and other bloggers with 'Not funny!' and that all the impersonations were the same boring things and unoriginal. It was on Facebook, I think Rosemary shared the impression video at the time. I follow Suzanne on Facebook and she has 'liked' a video of Doireann's impersonations, probably because these one are actually very funny and very accurate, picking up on all the bloggers isms :D

    Ah that is very harsh.
I follow Grace on snapchat and she does seem genuinely lovely; very relatable too :)

I think Rosie has had the sense to distance herself from the mess that is Grace's attempt at being a blogger.

I was surprised to see no public support from Rosie when Grace was being 'bullied' (read: completely violated the terms of a group then cried boo hoo when someone had the audacity to actually hold her accountable for her actions) so I think thier bromance has been cooling off for a while now.

With all due respect you spend your life watching someone else do nothing with theirs all day... we're naturally going to have different opionions!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 348 ✭✭hearmehearye

I'm actually shocked about Grace. Well, not really because I doubt the voting for this event actually means anything, it's just a pocket liner... but Grace hasn't been influential whatsoever? Fair enough she snapped her labour and that put her up on a bit of a pedestal but for the last few months she has been an absolute disaster from a PR side (Curry's TV/ C & G Babyformula, the breastfeeding group saga etc etc). Her snaps have been nothing but baby crap since the child was born, there's a half arsed attempt at following the Miss Fit challenge, for a company whose product she hasn't been able to have for well over a year and weirdly invasive snaps of her family. I follow and unfollow her regularly to see if things change but nope.

    It's all just so weird.

Which is great if she's a friend of yours but as a blogger / influencer she's 'jumped the shark' as they say months back. She does seem like a lovely girl and her boyfriend comes off as a gent. If there was a reward for cutest baby she'd deserve it ( that smile) cause tbh that's the only reason I still follow her but even that is invasive .
Go enjoy your baby for a few years ... don't feel the need to film every single minute of the poor child's life to share with strangers. I'd say the child wouldn't recognise her without a phone between them.
Her refusal to #ad is fast losing her fans tho i'd imagine. I find her less sincere by the snap.

I know it's been said already but Grace wining the prize sponsored by Meaghers, I mean really

It couldn't look more set up if they tried.

And an influencer who is investigated by ASAI wins best influencer :o you couldn't make it up!
