    to be fair all we've seen is about 10 minutes of footage and past that not one of us has a clue...all of this is speculation at this stage...too many people on here stating their opinion as fact in this thread its a joke.

    Id be interested in your sources in LA.

    Quigley will be breaking into the top 10 now and is one serious boxer. I dont think any non boxer, whether it be MMA, or any other striking combat sports would stand a chance against him in a boxing ring. And before anyone says 'what about a boxer in an MMA ring' no boxer has ever made this claim yet.

    Going on listings? Maybe it is 3 inches in actuality, but size and frame for me are also important. Anyway, my point was that to claim much the bigger man is off the mark.

    I love Conor. I think he's an incredible athlete and bloke.

    Would he have a chance? Of course he would. It would be extremely slim, but every fighter has a chance. Fans of boxing & MMA would of seen enough fights where mad things have happened.

    But he was a novice boxer who crossed over to MMA. He's probably trained MMA for 10 years. You don't go from novice boxer, to MMA and then back to boxing to fight one of the greats and win.

    You don't start out as a chippy, leave after your first year, divert to bricklaying, become a competent brickie, and 10 years later revert back to carpentry and challenge a master carpenter in a woodwork competition.

    It's like saying Liverpool should of signed Bernard Brogan to replace Suarez. Similar sports but yet worlds apart.

    I think he was being sarcastic.

    Somebody asked where the proof was that Conor even sparred Jason let alone get the better of him and a picture of the 2 together was presented.

    *The picture is conclusive proof that they sparred and Conor got the better of him with Jason begging for mercy.

    Van Heerden, the guy fed to Errol Spence who destroyed him without getting out of second gear. Good guy though, gave good honest insight into McGregor as a boxer.

    How many rounds did they spar? Also this is Van Heerden he's sparring. Not Floyd.

    Sure, the same way Van Heerden sent out an edited clip in his favour,


    But according to some on here he'd be smashed by Irish Amatuers, so they reckon Van Heerden isnt as good as an amatuer, to say he wont land a punch is hilarious can drop any man up to 170lb.
