Thinking of backing McGregor to win it in rounds 3 4 and 5? 50-1 on Sky Bet

How much of an idiot would I be to do it?

I'll give you 500-1 for any bets over €100

Well we have yet to come up with a quantifiable scale for stupidity - but if we did have one then you would be pretty close to the top...

Conor basically built his trash talking antics off Floyd ffs.

Complete and utter nonsense. Ali is who McGregor copied and is on record as saying so.

From predicting which round he would knock someone out in, to saying how good looking he is. Note the date on the following tweet:

Floyd had him shook. The chicken in the cage with Golden Girl above it and the Olympic medal is the funniest thing I have ever seen in a pre fight presser.

Yeah, that was funny........... BUT Floyd would want to be careful not to think that because some of his past opponents tolerated some some his antics that McGregor will also. For example, if he tried the following on McGregor, he'd soon regret it. He may be the best boxer in the world, but that would mean s*** against someone with McGregor's skills.

Can't see these on Windows but I presume they're emojis of some kind? In which case please don't tell me you think Floyd would have a hope against Conor if a fight broke out. Mayweather's hand would around McGregor's throat for about 0.0001 second before he'd find himself on the ground wishing he'd kept his hands to himself..... at best. Most likely he'd be choked unconscious as an added bonus. His only hope would be his bodyguards saved him from being embarrassed further and rescued him.

Or the ex-wife to takeover choking him out

The best value is on punches landed by Conor . A bet on under the handicap would be my choice

Mayweather needs rules to survive a physical confrontation with McGregor. He wouldn't dare try choke him.

McGregor needs rules . With no rules Floyd could arrive to the press conference in an army tank.

He has shown again and again that he doesn't take big risks. He's smart that way.

Exactly, fighting Mcgregor is such and easy win for his 50-0 and he's getting paid an extortionate amount of money.

I agree. So no way would he risk getting his arm snapped in retaliation to touching McGregor at a press conference.

They'd both want to be fairly stupid to do that.

    Arm snapped? By who?

Mcgregor certainly wont risk his 100million.

He's already agreeing to be bitch slapped around a ring.

It's all a bit of a moot point no? Mayweather's not exactly new to the art of trash talking/mind games. He's been doing it a while and will know what he can and cannot get away with. Victor Ortiz is pretty mentally fragile and he'd know he could get away with that..

Exactly. Floyd knows that he doesn't need to go to those lengths to drum up hype.
Conor also knows that some pushing builds hype but an all out brawl hurts them both.

They also don't really have a lengthy rivalry. I know McGregor did that with Aldo because they were in the same division, and it worked a treat. Not sure if its needed with this one, from either.

Mark my words, these pressers will be as dull and bland and scripted as the actual "fight."

Genuinely couldnt be bothered watching any press conference for this . It's all a bit WWE for me.

I will watch the PPV and enjoy the madness of the show but 4 or 5 press conferences are a bit much . What can really be said.

I might watch the first one if I think of it at the time but don't expect anything more to come of it other than a few McGregor soundbites. They'll have absolutely 0 impact on the fight regardless of what is said/done

I think the pressers might actually be interesting, will be interested in how McGregor deals with being constantly reminded he has no chance
