Did you keep your entire flock a year with no lambs or sell out and buy in again?

Last of the scanning today, the ewe lambs,
    110 singles
    18 doubles
    15 barren
The 15 barren are all form the heaviest ewe lambs...explain.
They only got 20 days with the ram.
1.01 lambs per ewe let out with the ram......just the way i like them

I kept them. They were good quality hoggets so no point in selling them.

Trying to rebuild/restart a farm we inherited which had been let run down to nothing.

In hindsight we were probably not ready for lambing last year so maybe it was for the best.

If you're depending on one ram you need to be using a raddle and change it every fortnight or fertility test the ram

    7 empties
    21 singles
    61 couples.
    23 trebles
    2 quads
Am expecting a few of the empties to be in lamb. Had 5 ewe lams that I let out 3 singles and two nothings. 1.93lambs per ewe

Scanned empties yesterday 4 in lamb. One couple and 3 singles. Brings scanning % up to 1.97

Is in accuracy a common thing among scanners, would they be out by many?
