I had this for lunch today. It was delicious.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Have been so busy the past two weeks that I haven't had time to spend on the net. Knowing I would be busy I prepared all my food for the whole week on Sunday so that my diet wouldn't suffer because of my workload.

    Today's food:

8am: Mushroom, turkey bacon and sweet potato fritata
11am: Raspberry, white chocolate and oat muffin
1pm: Salmon, asparagus and seeded cracker
3:30pm: Bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon and spring onion
    5:30pm: mandarin
6:30pm: Homemade moussaka, homemade vegan bounty bar (happy pear recipe - definitely nicer than the real thing)
9pm: fruit smoothie and some fat free vanilla yoghurt with an oat cake.

trying to do this 'little and often' approach. It feels like I never stop eating but it has 100% cut out any cravings for anything sweet - brilliant!!!!!

For breakfast earlier, I had fried eggs on toast. Washed down with tea, of course!

Not something I'd usually consider - was OK I suppose.

Breakfast was Aloo Paratha with pickle and curd....so yummy. (basically indian potato bread with lime pickle and natural yoghurt!), then at lunch time I had some saute potato with cheese and curd and coleslaw for lunch and a bowl of fruit - pineapple, strawberries, banana and watermelon - with some ice cream.

    Stuffed.

I ate last nights dinner for lunch today. Roast chicken, stuffing, gravy, peas and roasties. I skipped breakfast. Sometimes working from home has its advantages.:D

This evening, it real comfort food. Taco chips, homemade as usual. Got some steak mince and slow cooked it in taco spice and stock with finely diced red/green peppers and onion. Have Taste of Goodness Taco sauce for over the chips before adding the mince. A sprinkle or 10 of grated mozzarella on top and I'll be good to go. Before that I'm unwinding with a couple of bottles of Desperados. I'm worth it and I'm the only one who thinks that.

Am I the only person who wants to go live with Srameen for his meals? I work in a bar/restaurant so sometimes I get to have amazing food for very little or just to taste but sometimes I miss a proper home cooked/comfort meal which I almost never have time for

    Hungarian cauliflower.

Essentally, cauliflower, peppers and mushrooms in a sour cream and paprika sauce, covered with cheese and baked.
I'm not sur eif it is actually Hungarian. The recipe is from my mum, and she calls nearly everything with peppers and paprika "Hungarian". Very, very yummy :D
