Afternoon tea was a lovely selection of finger sandwiches, scones/jam/cream, and some gorgeous mini desserts and Prosecco and or tea/coffee.
Expensive enough, but for an occasion it made a nice change. :)

    Now eating jungle jellies. :pac:

Only got home from a work fest at 1am this morning. Had virtually no internet coverage where I was. Has its advantages.:D But the grub was great. Nice breakfasts. The best two dinners were Thursday and Friday. Sirloin steak, mash, roasties, potato gratin and a load of Veg. Yesterday evening was potato skins with cheese and bacon to start, followed by a beef stir fry, rice and chips. Kinda of overloaded on spuds now.

Went out for dinner and had a veg Lasagna. Really disappointed. It had roasted peppers, sweet potato and carrot among other things in a cheesy sauce rather than tomatoey so it was too sweet and sickeningly cheesy.

Cheese with sweet things in it and thrown under the grill. Bleugh.

I went to a vegetarian/vegan cafe yesterday for lunch. I had spicy butter beans with avocado and garlic sourdough bread on the side. It was delicious. I’m trying to be more vegetarian.
I also got a hot chocolate made with almond milk. Oh my, best hot chocolate ever!

They do the most amazing potato gratin at work, it's not unusual to see us picking at the leftovers when we clear the tables :D

    Ah Jesus, no.

"Very soon we are going to Mars. You wouldn't have been going to Mars if my opponent won, that I can tell you. You wouldn't even be thinking about it."
