    Was hoping Higgins would pull through but he missed 3 balls with the rest in the final frame which didn't help so can't say he didn't have a chance.

    I had to leave the house during that final frame when the clock for one Selby safety shot was at 3 minutes and counting! Was a gripping encounter nonetheless. Neither player was top of their game but for sheer matchplaying resilience and know-how, you won't find better exponents. I'm as sure as I can be that Selby will be facing O'Sullivan in the final and will successfully melt his brain and win the title. It almost seems too obvious at this stage!
