Not sure if anyone posted it but there's a great video about this very idea going around at the moment, guy arrives at a party dressed as an Islamic State fighter, and everyone's just saying 'Ah, now, that's just totally inappropriate, seriously, you can't come into the party dressed like that it's not on'.

Various members of the party see this guy in passing, do a double take and they're all in agreement that it's just a bit much and not appropriate, and they ask the guy to leave - they're all dressed as Jimmy Saville, Hitler, Priest with a doll hanging out of his crotch, etc shaking their heads.
