And seen a new one this evening for is it Activia? Something else telling us about new normal.

    That phrase makes me homicidal
Thats one of many phrases that makes me glad you can't buy a shotgun in Tesco.

Yeah only just noticed the Dad the other day, surprised they didn't just put in a second mammy to cover themselves.

The Heineken ad. The last line saying I'll roll myself into a ball and die. How did anyone think that was apt in an ad showing people supposedly coping with the current circumstances.

Lol! In my defense I seen it written somewhere just before I posted, coincidence but I was trying to figure out what to say, it just fit 😄

I hate the Swappie ads on Youtube. Annoying F*ckers!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 1,612 ✭✭✭Gervais08

Sorry if there have been mentioned but:

the 3 ad with annoying brat telling his mother to get off the screen - and her listening to him!!

The U.K. Nationwide ads with the ****e “poetry”

“BUM .. HIPS.. THIGHS“... oh F**K OFF!!!

The Starbucks trans ad with “James” - Starbucks will write whatever you wanted on your order whereas of you order with a credit card of course the order will come with the real name on it. Trying too hard to be “woke” - and if Mermaids is the first children’s charity you think of to raise money for then shame on you Starbucks.

Sorry son, but I'm working so you won't starve. Or I could just stop and pack it all in. Then you won't need to worry about screens at the table because I won't be able to afford them. Or food.

Chewing gum ad where the two office workers are wearing the same shirt. It is just so american, painfully unfunny and annoying. The little short guy is like a cheap version of Jack Black as well.

Another super nnoying one is for the iphone where people are shouting things out loudly 'my heart rate is 150' 'I've googled 4 divorce lawyers'

Stupid Isolief ad with florist(?) woman who speaks in a strange combination of words and gestures and gets excited about a tablet combining paracetemol and ibuprofen. What idiots think these up?

Oh jeebus that ad is so ****e, amongst the worst I've ever seen.

The Lidl ad where that feckin retard is going on about 'bahbees'.

Who the hell uses the term 'bahbees'

    What a creep

Am I being paranoid, or is there a rainbow somewhere in about every second ad now? I don't know if it's being used as the Pride symbol or by UK ads in support of the NHS.

I hate the Gilette Skinguard ad. It's always on youtube. Especially the line "scrub up well don't i?"....because he looks like a twat with a fat face.

He should be advertising balaclavas with a mug like that, not Gillettes.

Eirgrid - a really half hearted attempt at covering Message in a Bottle by The Police.

Also, "Im a chicken fillet guy, with butter - or mayonaise". Feck off.

Also why can't he drink wine anymore now he has kids? Was he a raging alcoholic before the kids came along?

Once again, I wouldn't worry about the rainbows, you can't catch the gay off the telly. You might just wind up trans from Starbucks coffee though.

That Eirgrid ad!! Why is it when people do these cover versions they have to do it in a weird voice? "Message in a bod-yill-yeaaah" Just sing bottle ffs!!

Haven't seen that one, but people refusing to pronounce their "t's" is really annoying, like the add that talks about "podaydo's"

This one drives me mad cos it's on so often:mad: (on the channels I watch anyway)

"It was dad said he wanted to talk about a pure cremation" has me diving for the remote

Of all the songs to be given the loathsome, slowed down, breathy female voice do-over this is the greatest abhorration of them all. It actually sent me into a rage.

I heard Darina Allen advertising Eir Broadband today. Considering that family’s history with the internet and computers I really would like to understand how anyone thought this was a good idea.

Nah I’m not at all, but as a larger girl myself I just think that they could have made an effort and not put clown makeup and horrible clothes on her. Us larger ladies can be elegant and stylish too, but the advert doesn’t convey that at all, and I certainly would not be rushing to lookup their clothing line based on the ad.
