The way they have done a number on the Bayley character just beggars belief. I don't even know how you salvage her at this point because I don't think you can turn her heel. They have made her so lame.

Extreme disappointment, 2 words to sum up Bayley's run on the main roster to date.

I was almost expecting a deranged stalker girl heel turn at the end. I'm just confused and bewildered at this point.

She's destroyed because they have to tell soap opera stories with everyone who isn't Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns is a face and Samoa Joe is a heel, right?

That was a brilliant promo from Cass, didn't know he had it in him tbh. It was fairly obvious for weeks that Cass was the one responsible for the attacks but I love how it played out tonight. I do wonder what's next for Enzo now though, he won't cut it on his own so going down the manager's route might be best.

There's a comment over on Reddit about Reigns and Brawn that I found interesting.

Basically, Roman is booked as someone the kids will love but the adults will hate.
Brawn is booked as someone the kids will hate but the adults will adore.

This isn't them messing up how they are booking the duo; it's a deliberate methodology to have the two of the, appealing to two different audiences at the same time. And given they get massive reactions, it's working. Both are tweeners, appealing to the audience with a near perfect balance to each other, and I feel it's working. I really liked the booking of their feud tonight.

Also LOVED the booking of Joe and the Clutch. He made Roman, one of the most protected guys on the roster, pass out. Right, how he applied it was cheap, but he is a heel after all. The important part is they showed how deadly that clutch is; he locked it in on Reigns and even Reigns couldn't break free or resist it. I hope that if Brock wins, they make it that Joe just simply couldn't lock in the move, rather than have Brock break it. The clutch is sold as one of THE most powerful moves in WWE right now.

Closing angle was interesting. Shout out to Big Show, who turns on a weekly basis depending how the wind blows, for getting angry someone would accuse him of being a bad guy. :P and I enjoy Titus at the moment. It's something fresh. Unlike Rollins/Bray who cut the same promos every week.

And I love Miz has gotten his "Entourage"; it's a shame the main event scene is so stacked right now cause he really deserves some run in it.

Meltzer was apparently speculating that he reckons they are ending Miz/Maryse because they are essentially the same gimmick as Mike/Maria.

I think I saw her, Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres are this weeks Table for 3 if you want to listen to her talk wrestling for twenty minutes ;)

I can't take Cass seriously at all. 7 foot tall and he has a 10 year old's face.

There's no way he's 7 foot either, he was a good bit shorter than the big show. A quick Google says 6"9.

Ending the Miz and Maryse is poor move if its purely a booking decison. Since she returned, The Miz has been on fire and she enhances his douchebag prima donna heel persona so well.

I agree they are very similar to Mike and Maria, but IMO, Miz and his Wife are the superior act from a character POV.

I can see the whole Miz and MAryse thing being a set up with her coming down in a match against Miz and Ambrose where it will look like she will help Miz retain.

Can see maybe Enzo going down the commentar route it would suite him and tbh hes not great in the ring but has good promo skills

Big cass as a mega heel could work he could be the new 'bully ryback' and the Baron Corbin of raw. Hope he gets a kick ass theme

Joining the miz may be good for Dallas and Axel. Sick of Ambrose vs the miz and hope it ends soon

Love Joe too win the title but don't think he will. I wonder what they will do with him after GBOF ???

Wish they didn't do the stupid ambulance thing with strowman. Have a bad feeling Reigns is going too beat Strowman at GBOF and were going too get reigns vs lesner at Summerslam and it will be match 1 of a trilogy ending at mania 34 ???

Going into Summerslam season it's hard to knw what some guys like rollins, Balor (1 year anniversary of his title win injury), Wyatt etc.

They are different gimmicks though and more importantly on different shows. Mike and Maria seem to be doing an annoying heel motivational gimmick....that's not what Miz and Maria are.

If Maryse is taking a step back it's because she wants to and nothing to do with Maria and Mike.

Maybe there trying for a little Miz in real life??

Buyt now Miz is doing the same gimmick as Jinder Mahal. Champion with two jobber lackies. Should keep Bo, Curtis and Maryse.

The two most stereotypical Indian dudes you could imagine, The Singh Brothers. Even the name is predictable. :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,350 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Ah so that's how it works. I can just walk into the WWE ring and say I'm the Number 1 contender and that makes me the number 1 contender? So if Brock loses he has to forgo his rematch because Reigns says he's the number one contender.

And maybe it's just me but destroying a lot of legneds' legacies, as well as a statue of Andre the Giant before burning the building down, seemingly with the security guy still inside doesn't seem like the actions of a face.

And maybe it was the top she was wearing, but Bayley had a very bouncy run to the ring. At least she got a decent reaction and seemed more agressive. I'm sure that'll be stopped quickly enough

They were on NXT, 205 Live and the Cruiserweight Classic as the Bollywood Boyz, Harv and Girv Sirha. They randomly showed up on SD with new names (Samir and Sunil Singh) as Jinder's hype men and Randy Orton's personal punching bags.

2 more guys born and raised in Canada with Indian roots

I'd love to know what the average Indian thinks of them, because I know for sure the Irish would reject someone from New York claiming to be Irish and doing it for Ireland

Have you ever seen the average Indian WWE fan online? They are awesome. They live in kayfabe. Jhon Cena is strongest man, Randy Ortan is snek hiss hiss

When Orton starts going mad on them, it looks like he is beating up twelve year olds at their confirmation
