They are live in London this evening, so no doubt spoilers for the show will appear before it starts on Sky Sports 5 on Tuesday morning.

The A-Lister looks to reclaim the Intercontinental Championship
Although The Miz and Maryse don’t want to admit it, the couple probably owes Samoa Joe and Bray Wyatt “thank you” cards and fruit baskets after what transpired this past Monday night on Raw. During a chaotic and wildly unpredictable Intercontinental Championship No. 1 Contender’s Triple Threat Match, The Samoan Submission Machine laid out Seth Rollins while The Eater of Worlds took down Finn Bálor with Sister Abigail, essentially handing The A-Lister the victory and a guaranteed Intercontinental Championship opportunity against Dean Ambrose.

Benefitting from Joe and Wyatt’s heinous actions, The Miz is closing in on his seventh Intercontinental Title reign. When will the boastful “must-see” Superstar get his title bout? Also, will Rollins and Bálor attain retribution against their attackers? Such questions will be answered on Raw this Monday.

How will Raw GM Kurt Angle handle the ongoing rivalry between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman?
Both Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman bear the wounds of battle following their brutal clash at WWE Payback, where The Monster Among Men defeated The Big Dog and continued the brutality in the locker room area.

Both rivals were noticeably absent last Monday, and Raw General Manager Kurt Angle has assured the WWE Universe that he is working with medical personnel and WWE officials on a proper course of action for Reigns and Strowman moving forward. What does their future hold? Find out Monday night.

    The Goddess stands tall
They don’t call Alexa Bliss small but fierce for nothing. Following a coronation this past Monday night that put the new Raw Women’s Champion on an all-too-literal pedestal, the self-proclaimed Goddess of WWE was victorious in an Eight-Woman Tag Team Match, scoring the victory for her team after raking the eyes of Bayley and pinning The Huggable One.

That win marked the second time in as many nights that Bliss had pinned Bayley — the first being at WWE Payback, where she defeated the fan-favorite Superstar to become the first competitor to win the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles. Will Bliss maintain her momentum in London, or will Bayley rebound against the new champion’s Five Feet of Fury?

Tag Team Turmoil engulfs Raw in the U.K.
Live on Raw in London, five teams will meet in a No. 1 Contenders’ Tag Team Turmoil Match for the right to challenge The Hardy Boyz for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

In addition to The Golden Truth, who were placed in the match this past Monday, the teams of Enzo Amore & Big Cass, Heath Slater & Rhyno, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson and Cesaro & Sheamus will be part of the mayhem.

A Tag Team Turmoil Match is an elimination bout in which two teams begin battling in the ring, and once a team is defeated, another takes its place. The match continues until only one tandem is left standing.

All of the teams in this match have a lot to prove, and one can imagine Enzo & Cass will be looking to get a piece of the so-called “good brothers” after Gallows defeated Amore this past Monday night. Meanwhile, The Swiss Cyborg and The Alabaster Gladiator will surely look to use their newfound aggression to pummel the opposition en route to another opportunity at Matt & Jeff Hardy’s Raw Tag Team Titles. Slater & Rhyno are hoping to become two-time tag team titleholders while Goldust & R-Truth’s “Golden Quest” officially begins Monday night.

very meh show. Ambrose and Miz/Maryse were co general managers for the night. Really feel sorry for all the people that travelled over for that average show. Hopefully they get a few decent dark matches.

Wasn't the best raw but the atmosphere was decent, it was my first live show so I enjoyed the buzz.

    Alexa Bliss is tiny!

Edit - was actually the most id enjoyed ambrose in a long time

To spoiler tag from your phone you have to type it out. What you type is
at the start of the line and then the same thing at the end of the line, but with a /SPOILER in the brackets this time. Leave no spaces between the brackets

Just about halfway through. I'm pretty sure Vince probably heard the crowd chanting "Let's go Roman! Strowman sucks!"

Raw was very sleepy, most of the talent just seemed to be going through the motions and not really hyped to be there. The crowd had nothing really to get them invested. But there are psotives.

The booking of Cesaro and Sheamus is a nice change from the 50/50 booking. The look like monsters and hopefully this trend will continue.

Finn vs Miz was grand but could have been so much better.

Cole asking Graves "Is Roman a gutless coward now" while he attacks a one armed man with a chair was hilarious. God its awful stuff.

Bray v Ambrose was meh, seen it far too many times. Cant watch Ambrose wrestle any more.

Seth v Joe was ok, nothing wild considering the two. Joe looks like his stamina is gone so much compared to his TNA years, he looks gased pretty quick.

The roster is prob jaded all ready with the all the touring, Id say the remaining live events will be of a similar going through the motions standard (Lille, Zurich, Stuttgart, Liege and Rotterdam to go). The Raw crew has been on the go since last weds

Very meh episode, i would of not been happy travelling over for that, Hardyz didnt even have a match and the dark match was Ambrose vs Miz (they done a bit of comic relief stuff as well in the dark segment)

Totally forgot RAW is on I have a total lack of interest in the product at the moment.

The roster seemed into it enough but the crowd was surprisingly subdued. Stuff like Mickie trying her best for a reaction and Finn, who you'd have thought would have gotten a big reaction, just seemed to be greeted with the "necessary" reaction.

The UK usually put on a good show even if what they're seeing doesn't deserve it. Strange.

Have not watched raw in a while and with Dean Ambrose on it, iv'e no reason to start again, iv'e far more interest in smackdown now

His promos now are no worse than Rollins, Joe, Wyatt or Balor all of them bore the hell out of me. Thankfully Miz hasn't been completely ruined, not yet anyway

Ambrose could really do with a heel turn character wise, as could Wyatt with a face turn

Feel like they'll get every bit out of them in their current states before flipping the switch, much like Sheamus & Cesaro just when it finally seems like they have nothing to do or no direction a heel turn gives them purpose

One big problem with WWE at the moment is the lack of purpose for people, especially with no WWE Champion around

Didn;t like Miz losing relatively clean to Balor. Doesn't help his case of being the number 1 contender to the top title on the brand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,013 ✭✭✭✭jaykhunter

Sucks that Miz was a big fish on Smackdown and he's real mid-card on RAW. He deserves better - he's been knocking it out of the park promo-wise for a while now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,083 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Miz and Alexa were a big get for Raw in terms of promos. There are others who do a lot of talking but none who are as enjoyable as those 2 who can actually improv when needed and don't seem as scripted.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,019 ✭✭✭✭beakerjoe

The Miz is a rare man these days as he gets genuine heel heat. No one is capable of getting nuclear heat like him.

People give him a lot of flack, but he more than deserves his praise the last year.

Possible spoiler, musing over results from this weeks house shows:
Finn Balor has worked Karl Anderson every night this week on the tour; I wonder if the plan is to have them work a feud/reunion angle soon. Maybe they work it into his current programme with Miz; have Miz head up the new Bullet Club?

I'd say because Bray replaced Braun in the tag team main event they had nobody else for Balor. Gallows and Anderson are treated as glorified jobbers anyway, so what's a few more losses on this tour going to do to them.

nothing else to do so thought id do the Raw preview this week

    RAW_640x350-0f5c1cc5c1.jpg

Its that time of the bastard week again

1.Dean Ambrose to defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz tonight on Raw

One week after Dean Ambrose and The Miz assumed control of Team Red as Co-Acting General Managers, The Lunatic Fringe and The A-Lister will clash for the Intercontinental Championship, live on Raw.
Ambrose’s title reign began at The Miz’s expense on SmackDown LIVE back in January, and The A-Lister has since been consumed by his desire to reclaim his prize and become a seven-time Intercontinental Champion.
When Co-Acting GM Ambrose prevented Miz from disqualifying his own opponent, Finn Bálor, this past Monday night — a move that would prove disastrous for The A-Lister — Miz interfered in Ambrose’s main event battle with Bray Wyatt, helping The Eater of Worlds put away the unstable Superstar. After costing the champion a match heading into tonight's title defense and continuing the brutality after the bell, for good measure, has The Miz gained a necessary edge?

    2. What’s next for Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman?
As Braun Strowman mauled Kalisto on Raw this past Monday night in London while wearing a sling on his left arm, mind you — Roman Reigns emerged to pummel The Monster Among Men, focusing his attack on the goliath’s injured appendage with rapid-fire Superman Punches and steel chair strikes.
Although The Big Dog is clearly still recovering from his brutal encounter with Strowman at WWE Payback, it’s clear that Reigns gained the upper hand against the juggernaut this past Monday night, and no doubt exacerbated the lingering injury to Strowman’s arm. How will Raw General Manager Kurt Angle handle this escalating situation?

    3.“The Bar” is officially raised
Outlasting four other tandems in Monday night’s Tag Team Turmoil Match, Cesaro & Sheamus are now the No. 1 contenders to the Raw Tag Team Championship and will battle The Hardy Boyz for their titles sometime soon.
The Swiss Cyborg and The Alabaster Gladiator avoided a direct confrontation with Matt & Jeff in London, choosing instead to battle the brothers when the titles are on the line. When will this championship confrontation take place?

4.Alexa Bliss’ “new best friend” stands tall
Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss was wise enough to avoid insulting Nia Jax during her “Coronation” the night after WWE Payback. As a result, the self-proclaimed “Goddess of WWE” got a new BFF to go along with her new title — assuming, of course, that a future championship opportunity comes with that friendship.
Until that point, Nia seems determined to aid Alexa in pummeling any and all opposition to her crown, including Mickie James and former titleholder Bayley. With Jax on her side, has Alexa become untouchable?

5.It’s over when Samoa Joe says it’s over
After repeatedly sending Seth Rollins headfirst into an exposed turnbuckle and locking The Kingslayer in the Coquina Clutch Monday night, Samoa Joe made it a point to tell his foe, “It’s over when I say it’s over.” Despite Rollins’ victory over Joe at WWE Payback, Rollins will be hard-pressed to truly conquer The Samoan Submission Machine. How will Rollins retaliate?

    Usual time usual place enjoy

I hope The Miz beats Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship, anyone but Ambrose at this point.

Also gimmick infringement, but I'll let it slide..

Having no world title really kills the interest in the show, for me at least.

The IC title being the main focus is just meh.

And with Strowman on the shelf as well. Interest is at a low..
