    man bun Rollins

Its interesting giving Rollins and Buddy the tag titles (Mr lynch and Mr Bliss ha). Leading to them vs KO/Joe with i bet Big show turning and joining Seth and Co

I've defended the whole Rusev story but ending the go-home show to the Rumble with Lashley beating Rusev again was a baffling decision, especially on a show you had a ladder match and a tag title change.

    Unless Lashley wins the Rumble....

I'm sure if I saw Zelina at the top of a ladder, it wouldn't exactly put me off climbing.

When they were introducing the 24/7 champion I was wondering if they would explain how Truth got from Houston. Forgot Mojo was champ. Guess he's not represented by Sami anymore.

So The OC beat Viking Raiders multiple times and don't get a 2 on 2 title shot, yet a make shift team gets a title shot right away for no reason and win.

Street Profits mentioning 4/20 and then going on about smoke?
And where was the ring invasion?

As usual Raw is a much better show than it was 6 months ago. Still isnt worth watching live and in an age where decent YouTube clips are available the next morming, its no wonder no one watches live. Its a chore.

3 hours, tons of adbreaks, plenty of skipable portions (Street Profits skit, Mojo, Rowan, Lashley v Rusev). Its just no worth watching at 1am.

Plenty of positives as usual. Rollins and co are fun to watch. Its mostly fresh, its new stars, its interesting.

Blacks squash is fine but is he not above squash matches now. Id rather see him do that to a more established competitor.

Didnt get the Brock Ricochet segment. Maybe it will lead somehwere. Ricochet is awful on the mic. In ring hes a star, on the mic hes a chump. WWE needs to hide his weaknesses.

No problem with Hardy being feed to Rowan.

Im well over Lashley vs Rusev. End it 2 weeks ago. Pointless, heatless feud. I can see what they attempted, but execution was poor.

Excited for Becky and Asuka but the build hasnt been great.

Drew and Randy was decent. Drews been looking strong in recent weeks and I wouldnt mind him being pushed further.

Rey vs Andrade was a fine TV ladder match. I suspect the post match stuff was why it didnt main event. Carillio has been elevated nicely in recent weeks. Again Im all for new guys getting pushed and him and Andrade has been another feud where both men have been getting over.

Hopefully get a good promo from Edge tonight explaining his return.

Rollins/Buddy vs KO/Joe for the tag titles too.

I think Ronda shows up tonight also. I feel it in my waters.

Ye Charlotte will get her WM match against Ronda this year and Becky will play second fiddle to Ms Flair.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,083 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

I expect they'll start a build to Super Showdown/Elimination Chamber being just a week apart.

Charlotte will probably challenge Becky since she wasn't involved in the decision at last year's Mania.
And was pretty obvious from last night that Drew is going after Brock.

Ah balls didn't realise they were so close to each other again. They always end up crushing the story of the PPV after the Saudi show and EC is the last one till Mania so that's a disaster.

Now the Becky/Asuka feud is over, will Asuka and Kairi get back to fighting for the titles?

Is there anyone to challenge them?

Iconics. Logan and Liv if they wanna do a Riott Squad reunion.

They're cross brand champs but contracted to Raw. So they can defend on any brand but if they lose the titles they'll be Raw superstars

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,352 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Drew could be a massive star

Jesus the OC are shocking without Styles

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 61,272 ✭✭✭✭Agent Coulson

Well at least Gallows and Anderson got a nice new shiny contract last year to be buffoon jobbers.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,352 ✭✭✭✭J. Marston

That's exactly how Gallows and Anderson should be treated.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,352 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

Edge is in terrific condition but felt his in ring cardio is not up to scratch yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,511 ✭✭✭chips1234

ffs can we just not have these two wrestle again please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,516 ✭✭✭The White Wolf

It's pretty poor when you're relieved Kairi caused the DQ. I think I would have ****ed my phone at the wall if I had to see Asuka tapping again to the Queen, wooooooooo.....

The crowd reaction was so awesome during the final segment. Proper gasps of horror.

Have to say for all the grief he gets, which I've given plenty of, there's very few who can play a bastard as good as Orton without bordering on panto.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,689 ✭✭✭sky88

That was just a brilliant segment from start to finish

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,949 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

I presume it’s Edge vs Orton at Mania now, and that was to write him off for a few weeks, and not do it at the Saudi show or at the Chamber?

A leaked sheet from post Rumble Sunday night had Drew Vs. Brock, Reigns Vs Fiend and Edge Vs Orton pegged for Mania so I say you're right, i imagine Edge is written off until Mid-March. Ties into his lighter working schedule too.

That final segment was wrestling at its best. The gasps of horror when Orton got on the ropes was brilliant.

Also, I hope this is the beginning of a heel turn for Becky...

Surprised they didn't strip Andrade of the title last night after failing a drug test and he gets 30 day ban.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,352 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

The Orton face turn didnt last long

Hes better as a heel anyway

    He is great heel

Orton and Edge angle was the best thing I've seen in ages. I was actually hyped for a Rated RKO reunion match and was fantasy booking in my head who they'd fight. Also was thinking it made sense as a tag match would protect Edge then bang an RKO out of nowhere.

I'd love to see Randy bring back the punt kick for a personal feud like this and maybe kick the sh*t out of Christian and mayeb even the former Edgeheads, Ryder and Hawkins.
