Orton and Edge angle was the best thing I've seen in ages. I was actually hyped for a Rated RKO reunion match and was fantasy booking in my head who they'd fight. Also was thinking it made sense as a tag match would protect Edge then bang an RKO out of nowhere.

I'd love to see Randy bring back the punt kick for a personal feud like this and maybe kick the sh*t out of Christian and mayeb even the former Edgeheads, Ryder and Hawkins.

have him show up on NXT to RKO Beth

Surprised its an Orton match that Edge came back for.
thought he would have been interested in a first time opponent - i heard him mention Alistair Black and names like that on his podcast.
    crazy that he's 46 now.

after 9 years it might be best for a match with someone he knows and trusts

trying to remember if they ever had a big match between them.

They definitely had some on raws and before they were big stars

He may wrestle others but his first singles match back he probably wanted to work with someone very safe in Orton and also someone who he's friends with.

Edge is in terrific condition but felt his in ring cardio is not up to scratch yet

Well you hear it from wrestlers who have been out far shorter than edge has been and to a man or woman they say doing cardio in the gym is not the same as being in the ring.

as much as orton i think among a lot of fans who are critics but wrestlers seem love him edge & christian constantly praised him as one of the best on their podcast, trips, jericho & cody to name a few have praised him

Plus did he ever have a proper singles match with Orton? Another to scratch from the bucket list maybe

They would have usually been heels at the same time between 04-11 so very little time where either was a face there

They faced each other at Over The Limit 2010 so it has been done before on PPV.

If it gets Christian back then yes yes yes ;)

Orton/Edge segment was very well done and oh so refreshing. I'd watch regularly again if I got this type of emotion-driven storytelling which treated wrestling and its fans seriously, instead of the goofy, hokey horsesh*t that is prevalent in modern times.

Also made a nonsense of the notion made by trash practitioners of invisible hand grenade, penis flip, style buffoonery who insist that the old style wrestling angles don't work today because kayfabe is dead. Last night an audience full of people who know it's a work were neertheless able to suspend their disbelief because of an excellent job done by two proper pro wrestlers. This is what wrestling is all about and is something the outlaw mudshow, spot monkeys will never ever grasp.

Just moved now. Was wrestling on NXT UK recently, which is why Mojo introduced him. Mojo isn't exactly Shawn Michaels.

That last segment was really well done, though to me it made everyone that isn't Edge a heel. All those guys in the back and no one runs out to help. Not even officials who have no problem coming out to break up a fight between 2 people who are on equal footing.

Is there something up with Lashley and Rusev? They were written off Rumble and then Raw.

Looked like the suplex to Charlotte was a bit dodgy. Not surprising considering the height difference combined with what the Warriors were wearing

What's up with Vic getting booted off the commentary team?

Dio gone now Vic and they were good.

    Jaysus that ending was something.

When it comes to selling we rarely see it presented in a way that makes you think someone is genuinely hurt or act in the way you could expect them to, Edge arm twitch, finger twitch etc mixed with the actual history he has.

I guess they can't do it often as it was presented a actually troubling and is actually a hard watch.

It has been a long time since we have seen that sadistic side of Orton.

Last time was Against Jeff Hardy when he kept sticking his finger in his earring hole.

the problem is Orton can't deliver an above 3 stars match when it comes to it.

I disagree, we motivated he can be great and with the tight opponent. I enjoyed his matches with Jeff Hardy, his WM match against Rollins.

Problem is he rarely is motivated.

Agree with that even in the rumble you could see him raise his game because an angle with Edge motivated him.

Was that not just part of the story to have them lose?

No apparently it was true. It was the doctors decision to pull him from the match and not the producers.

There’s apparently such bad snow in Utah tonight that the Governor is considering closing roads entirely. Which will have an impact on Raw given it’s in Utah tonight.

Could be an empty arena for the show. Or they could just cancel it.

Most of the talk is cancelling it and airing nxt instead. Only 1 half of the street prophets is there and another bunch of stars haven’t arrived in the building yet
