Teachers don't like being interrupted. They're not used to it.

I love the way the teachers throw in all these completely irrelevant arguments. The teachers should just do what their employer tells them. They all ask for more money any time the smallest of progressive changes are asked for. And then pretend that they have the students interest at heart.

    Shower of etc etc.

Imagine that. Going on strike and not being paid.

in fairness after listening to this wan, and the other teachers that have been on the radio, I'd have zero sympathy for any of them.

Why not out with placards this week ? are they all busy or something

The upcoming strike isn't about junior cycle reforms. I'm not sure why Joe is pursuing it, when the strike isn't about that.

Honestly they get THREE months off a year. You'd think that they would some SOME small piece of flexibility in return.

Alongside the johnny under the steering wheel centre boss (pre airbag days). Well, you never know when opportunity will present itself, so the previous owner of that vehicle thought, obviously.

But the next teachers' strike or the one after that will be, so Joe is just saving us all a bit of time.
