Does Michael Noonan personally get all the VRT paid?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,420 ✭✭✭✭sligojoek

It went to Bertie and co for long enough too , Joe

The tax doesn't go to Michael Noonan Joe.

And you pay VRT on car imports from outside the State. But don't let facts get in the way.

Years ago I bought a couple of suits in M&S Belfast, one pair of trousers were too long so I brought them back into the shop in Liffey Valley, gave them back to the lady and they credited my a/c with the GBP amount approx. £80 about e100.

I went and had a look and couldn't find the right size so I said damn it I'll just take them back and get them taken up. Went back got the exact same pair and they charged me e150.....

It's probably the only way they can get rid of them!

"A stunning show" says Joe. And it hasn't opened yet.

Anyone want to come to my Brindin O'Cardle Tribute Show? I'll just sit at the kitchen table and curse for 2 hours. Tickets €99 on Ticketmaster, €12,000 on Seatwave. Can you plug that Joe?

Use their branch here to get the correct sizing, then order it from UK online.

Shocking how they can find out all that old woman's details - fish through the recycle bin outside the house for the genuine visa debit expiry letter. Then you have the first four digits of the card....and the expiry date...and the bank manager's name. Then on to Facebook to see if you can find the person, and look for a posting regarding a birthday. Job done. Ring the old woman and get the details

There will be a run of aggreived retailers on the phones now - or there would be, but they'll find themselves mysteriously delayed in getting on.
