I wasn't in the car yesterday. I received an unpleasant surprise this morning when I turned on the car and the first thing I heard on the radio was the voice of Colm Hayes. For under a second.

In a house a while back..Courtenay was/is on...He ridiculed some guy who rang up about the huge fire thats been going on since last night..just because he didnt know about it...:rolleyes:

But the best was, another guy rings up to slag him off over it.."I dont listen to the radio" he confesses ..DID YA HEAR THAT HAYES...not even nova.:p

What's happened with this morning show? It used to be great until these two ejits arrived I can't stand to listen to it. Just noise, nonsense and annoyance maybe a decent song or two and that's it.

They have a breakfast parenting advice show in the mornings with one former mother of the year and one hapless idiot. I'm more of a rock person myself to be fair so I'll probably look for a more suitable station.

That's harsh and really insulting. What have idiots done to annoy you that much? It's hard to describe Hayes without insulting some unpleasant group of society.

Something to do with Chris Evans moving to Virgin Radio? They said they have plans to expand next year so that could include spin off stations. We will only get them online here I suppose.

It's not that bad, I've listened a few times.

Been listening for the last hour, they really like The Verve and Oasis, not that it’s a bad thing really!

Its near time the Dublin area had a decent rock station with quality presenters, not has-beens or celebs...nova just hasnt delivered on its "promise" ..its just about keeping the within the bounds of the licence...8 years on , how fcuking long is this particular (down) hill...another 2 years , slowly getting more mundane at each sunrise.....the BAI need to have a rethink on how they sell allocate their permissions to broadcast....and promise the public that Hayes will not be heard or allowed to run any station EVER.....:)

I don't bother listening much anymore. Used to have it tuned in all day at work. Since the breakfast show changed I've pretty much given up on it as a station.

The breakfast thing is a no-go...miller, i usually get a few minutes here and there..which is more than enough..and courtenay is another no-go area....tbh its only the lunch time where i listen , and thats just half an hour...
