Oh I would love to see a hedgehog up close, only ever see a dead one on the road

They're full of fleas, picked him up with a glove to place in the field but no doubt I'll have red bites on my arm tomorrow. Little smushy slobbery snout on him when he was all curled up :D

I think it's a good rule of thumb that when you see a hedgehog in daylight there's something wrong with it.

It's better than rugby. More running game less bulldozer tactics.

You miss my point it's rugby

Was out watching, but then had to run in and look up flightradar24 to see what the plane was crossing over the house.
Its EY140, an Etihad Jumbo from Toronto, heading for Abu Dhabi.

Very good this year about 2 every minute and not small little ones (although there is them as well) but the big bright ones with smoke burning up behind them.
Not just n.e but from the milky way overhead to the nw horizon.
    Nice free fireworks display.:D

A few seem to be coming straight towards our location. No trail, just a flash.

It's hard to know which way to look.
Turn your head one way and then just see the next one at the corner of your eye.
Yea there's a good few different types from the fast little ones to the bigger slower ones.
Someone must be getting some film footage of it in the country.

If you are strapping down a load the straps must have the label they come with on them, if you are stopped by the rsa and there are no labels on your straps you can be fined:eek:

    Brilliant Lads.
You don't make an Olympic Final doing casual. Great they have the humour though. That is one though sport.

Didn't see the race. But just turned on rte.
    Great result. Tough brothers.
Fearless took it all in their stride.
With a sense of humour too even better.

Just caught it on de telly here at work. Great race!! They were close to winning it but the French held out well. Nothing between the top three! Didn't see the interview with them after but it is supposed to be another classic with one of the brothers having to turn around to get sick during the interview. Hard boyos!!!

OH would replace 2 or 3 every year due to wear and tear let alone labels falling off. Got a good deal for short straps (8 x 10m - 5K daN) delivered for €90 odd euro from a company in Galway. Could do with replacing two 12m so will keep an eye on the site for special offers.

Looking for back up on the business forum. If anyone is interested. :D Some ejjit has been basically saying my parents have been Shiite farmers and I'll be the same because I only farm 80 acres. He reckons anyone with a brain stopped farming years ago unless they could milk 200 + Cows.
    Name of thread
    Milk - liquid gold.

Got an artic load of straw from Kildare to day, driver said he was told at a checkpoint that some of his straps were out of date.

A Lorry driver told me that straps have a best before date. Never heard that one before either.

They are best before I use them and they end up in a tangled pile with bits of finger left in the ratchet..

Best before doesn't necessarily mean bad after. That applies to food also.

Got the last of my straw home today before the rain, normally doing it in September and trying to juggle school runs so it was nice to just go straight into it.

But....there's always a but:)... had a bad hypo bringing the last load, managed to get into the yard without hitting anyone though. My driving wasn't helped by the driver who decided to drive in my half of the road coming round a bend. Had to swerve into the ditch a bit and took out a mirror:mad: so I had nothing to see behind me turning into my own place.

I did see her facing the wrong way in the road when I got off to check behind me though so I guess she might put the phone away while driving for a bit:rolleyes:
