To be fair, from what i've seen, the Irish scene is quite strong and the internet analytics have shown it to be more popular than Tinder, almost as popular as Twitter and to have actually outranked Porn at one point via google searches

I think you'd be surprised at how well the thing is taken up if you post about it, embrace the nerd within you!

30 year old here. But I feel like I'm a kid again playing red on the Gameboy :P. It makes me feel better that a few people from work are playing too. So i'm not the lone weird guy haha.

Up to level 14 now. They are getting harder to catch. I've gotten pretty damned good at throwing curve balls and always hitting them dead centre with a small circle....but some still take 4 or 5 balls anyway even after great throws.

Times like this iOS p*sses me off. Can't access any other store (on mobile or desktop) without a credit card attached to the appropriate address.

My next phone will not be an iPhone.

Also, a thought - would this not be a killer Google glass app?

Change store, click download on Pokemon GO. It'll ask you to sign in or register..click register and once you get to payment stage, it'll have "none" automatically selected.

Nope. Not on mobile or desktop. 'None' is never an option. The payment options might change (Master/Visa/Paypal/Mobile) but you always need a payment option with a registered address in that country.

Tried ten different countries and two difference email addresses (that are obviously not connected to an existing apple id).

I took over a gym. I know every 21 hours get something. But is there an initial reward? And how is it claimed?

I'm on iOS and had no problem with the US store on mobile. No cc required.

Choose US and just search a restraunt for address and zip code as they do check them.
10001 is the handiest zip to remember, it's in New York.

There are also US address generators that also generate a phone number with the appropriate area codes.

Went out for a big walk at lunch and took my first gym. 750cp 'mon against 6 of mine. Took all 6 to bring him down bow but got there in the end (started with a 430cp). Was delighted.

Then another blue team mate took the gym also. two of us now. Got 10 credits and the countdown timer started for 20 hours. Doubt i'll hold it very long.

Got to level 8 to and finally got access to strawberries to catch higher CP pokemon. Have some nice critters now, including a Pidgeot, Squirtle, Eevee, Charmander Nidoran (hatched from an egg) and a Tentacruel.

Why is there a ♀ at the end of my "Nidoran♀"?

My gf was playing this last night and some of the sites that came up were really bad. They are going to have to put more control on this. There were several in a local graveyard, one of the headstones was for a father and his young child (8 or 6 years old, couldn't quite make it out). The headstone said that they had died in an accident. Can you imagine playing it if you were a relative and seeing that come up on the screen? It's not really nice to think of people going around graveyards Pokemon hunting at all but when you can read the writing on the headstones that's totally wrong.
