Let me respond to you're question and give you a life lesson about parenthood all in one.

I don't have an answer as my wife looked after all the pram stuff, I'll ask her what we used when we are finished having absolutely no sex ever again.

    What car do you have?

    New Thor is absolutely brilliant

Get a shawl and a 10-euro fold-up stroller. Those fancy prams are a pure waste of money.

Awec buy an estate. Your missus will go mental buying unnecessary shìt for the baby and you'll end up visiting in laws, where you might be able to squeeze in a pair of socks and a razor into the motor.
We're on our 3rd estate and they are deadly for throwing stuff into...Kids, bikes, bbq's, bodies

I thought it was bad on here when you nerds would have conversations about operating systems, gaming systems, hardware, software and all that crap but prams!!! FFS! Can't we talk about the NFL?

Gladly! Did you see last week when the Jets led 28-14 at the start of the fourth quarter. The Miami defense forced the Jets into a three-and-out that concluded with 4th-and-16. When the lead was down to 28-21, the Jets got the ball back, and the Miami defense forced another three-and-out that concluded with fourth-and-20. The game was soon after tied up at 28, and the Jets took possession on their 15 with 47 seconds left. The Jets had three time outs, so a winning field goal was not impossible. The camera then panned to a section of the stadium where someone had a very nice pram. I might buy one.

Just don't get utterly f*cking ripped off. Some of those "travel systems" are ridiculous. And if you do go for a high end one, take good care of it as it will hold a solid resale value. You can easily spend €1k on the whole buggy/stroller/car seat combo for a baby. They prey on people thinking that they need to spend big to ensure the comfort or safety of the baby. They're paying for a brand name more often than not.

Having seen both the Dolphins and Saints live at Wembley a few weeks back, I'm struggling to see how they are both 4-2! There's not a lot of quality teams in the league this year. The Chiefs have lost two straight and the Packers are now among the average teams with Rodgers on IR. The Patriots might make a late run I suppose.

You'll very, very easily spend that these days. Some of them are far more expensive than that now. It's madness. That said we've found in the last couple of months that some of the cheaper ones are fiddly as fcuk (some of the expensive ones are too!). The last thing we want to be dealing with when sleep deprived is a poxy travel system that's a pain in the backside to fold up or put together. We ended up spending a bit more on one that's just easy.

There is nothing more unusual than test driving these things though. We were in one shop and people were genuinely asking questions about the suspension system on the model they were looking at. I mean what the actual!? It's not a bloody car....

If you want to save money you've probably already made a critical error

Drive a cross over so plenty of room in the boot. As far as I remember we got a maxi-cosi system and the seat from the car went right onto the base.

I can't remember seeing anything that wouldn't fit in a regular boot. Just remember that if you are travelling anywhere you need to fit the base, the buggy and probably a travel cot.

Oh - go and get a decent travel cot.

Yeah it's one of those things where it's easy to be ripped off. I sometimes am not surprised that things like Insurance and houses that everyone generally needs get are so expensive because an awful, awful lot of people are incredibly stupid with their money.

We went for a system that was robust and sturdy, had a high safety rating, was easy to use and was cost effective.

It's years from I've needed one (5-6?) but we went with a Phil and Ted. Deadly handy and stood up to dogs abuse. Survived about 7 or 8 flights, covered in sick, milk, sweat, food, coffee and when steam hosed it came up like new.

Think it cost 600 quid which killed me as I'd driven cheaper cars when I was younger.

First few times we went away it was like Tetris trying to pack the car. Car sets and bases, double buggy with the pram attachments, two basisnets, bottle making machine, sterlising unit, rake of bottles and enough nappies to dam the Liffey.

I took a long hard look at myself in the mirror that evening when we reached our destination and questioned my life choices. Then I went into the kitchen and sat on the microwave for an hour whilst it ran on full power.

This was supposed to be their season. Really hasn't sparked the way they were hoping. Have a big chunk of cap space still available for next season though, I believe and don't have guys like Winston or Evans out of contract either.

If they get a decent draft pick they could be very well placed next season. Maybe they'll be able to have as good a season as the Jets? Big maybe though.

What one did you go for in the end? The Stokke?

    Easily?

Pram alone is over 1k! Car seat extra on top. :o

Reading through the JFK files, one of the files listing the content of 1 of the many zip files is an excel sheet with 300+ rows. Whole thing seems to be a couple of gigs.

Tbf the Bucs have had a nasty enough schedule so far, including going to the Vikings and Bills. Their kicker cost them dearly at home to the Patriots.

At home to the Panthers on Sunday is a must win really. It's a competitive division so 3-4 keeps them in it.

    :)

The Bears have been encouraging in recent weeks. Their defense was monstrous against Carolina. They won and Trubisky only completed 4 passes. :pac:

Been a while! I reckon our entire set up cost us about €1,600 for buggy with stroller, bassinet, rain covers, foot muffs and car seats (including adapters for car seats to connect to buggy) and bases for the car seats.

In fairness, we still use it but when they got bigger and older we just grabbed a couple of cheap strollers as it's too heavy and bulky but, with winter on the way, it's back into the bigger contraption if we're outside for any period of time.

Nah, that was a ridiculous flight of fancy. Way too expensive. Went with the Egg in the end. Got the whole lot (including car seat, base and foot muff....my life was so much better when I had no idea what that was) for about €1.3k at the fair a few weeks back. Nowhere near as bad as some of the others we looked at. The OH has expensive taste so a lot of the cheaper ones were off the list because they looked "a bit plastic-y" or some such guff. Although to be fair anything that was fiddly was a big fat no from me too. I wouldn't have the patience for that crap now, never mind with a sleep depriver in tow.

Yep, brown leather handles and that bluey colour for the rest of it.

I have one pram related question, was it a Leinster blue?

    Egg looks nice.

We went for the Uppababy cause it's easy to put up and down and is easy to adjust the height seeing as she's a good bit shorter than me.

Baby can sleep in the bassinet of it too which is not that common for prams, handy as it means we won't need a travel cot for a while when travelling.

We had mountain buggy then phil and teds then back to MB which is still available but was bought out by phil and teds. Mountain buggy is much much better in our opinion.
