It's a lot worse in Dublin today than it was on Monday tbh.

From nowhere nz suddenly has a F1 driver. Ok it’s only Toro Rosso but still.

Also I saw blade runner last night. Minimal plot maximal style. It was so surreal at times it was frankly bordering on arthouse

Death of Stalin is brilliant. Not an out and out comedy as they portray it in the marketing, but I loved it.

Ha! I’ve never even watched the first one start to finish. Found it incredibly boring. Have absolutely zero interest in the sequel. I’m far from alone given its performance at the box office.

I finally got around to watching the new one in anticipation of seeing the new one. I watched it late at night so was tired and that probably didnt help but after hearing people rave about it for years it was ... meh. Then I looked up the IMDB reviews to see if I'd missed something and have since coined the term snobby-sci-fi. Call me a drooling imbecile but I like a bit of action and a good space battle in my sci-fi movies :D

Snobby sci-fi: i like it. Another option would be sci-fi for pretentious ****. You just know it’ll be one of those films where only a self-appointed elite will understand its esoterism and look down on anyone who was a bit underwhelmed.

    Same.

I was delighted they made a clear attempt to recreate the same atmosphere and ethos of the original.

I didn’t dislike it. But things like gratuitous product placement (Sony) and being just too surreal at times plus the limited plot means I wouldn’t rave about it.

Anyone got an opinion on sky fibre. It's basically the same price for sky fibre + basic TV in my apartment as just virgin. Which is pretty good. But the sky fibre is estimated at 50MBs and the Virgin is 320.

If I actually get 50 it's all gravy, but does anyone know of that's common?

I get good speeds wired, only about 20 on wifi if you run the speed test.

To be honest though I haven't had a problem, it streams Sky Go and Netflix just fine, I don't really play any online games so can't comment on that, seems reliable enough. I have my PC connected to it with powerline adapters so get close enough to the full speed there.

I had Virgin previously and in the manner that I use the internet I haven't had any instance where I've said "jaysus I reaaaallllyyyyy wish I had my old Virgin internet right now". And the TV offering is miles better.

Thanks, that's great to know! Do those powerline adapters work in apartment complexes? (I don't know why they wouldn't). They seem great.

I really don't know, have never lived in an apartment complex, but I can't see why not.

It depends on the apartment, but yes generally they do.

As far as I know, they will work as long as both power points are wired back to the same fuse board

Yeah this is it, if for some reason the outlet you plug the two of them into are on different circuits then obviously it won't work.

Relatively recent parents of the rugby forum, help me out!

Does anyone have an Uppababy Vista pram? We have this pram and are looking at buying a Kia Ceed, so does anyone out there with that pram have a Ceed or similar? Does the pram fit in the boot?

I'm just quoting this so there is a permanent record.

Back on topic, Uppababy pram fits best into the Nuci car base or the fora-station.

So regardless of whether you get the Nuci or the Fora you should be fine.

We've been using the Nuci-fora for around 3 years now and love it.

'Uppababy'... jesus awec what has happened to you.

I was asking myself the same question, having to buy a motor based on boot size. :(

Have any answers to my question Venjur? :D

Let me respond to you're question and give you a life lesson about parenthood all in one.

I don't have an answer as my wife looked after all the pram stuff, I'll ask her what we used when we are finished having absolutely no sex ever again.

Did you go for the brown leather handles awec?

My friend bought an uppababyvista, but they drive a landrover so it fits in the boot no problem.

Yep, brown leather handles and that bluey colour for the rest of it.
