Sorry it's not up to my usual standard. It's our club dinner tonight and I'm up to my neck in it with cheap beer :) A few changes on the match squad with Henshaw injured and CJ returning to the pack. But after incredible thought given in spite of it all, I reckon it will be Ireland by 4 points.

You can't get to do that unless you are a Prop :)

What a lovely day to be doing your safe pass course. Thankfully it only runs from 8.15 to 5p.m.

Wifi, mobdro and the phone on silent on my lap will be the starting point.

Momentum is with the saffers but if the lads throw everything at this there is no reason why we can't come away with the victory.

Most difficult thread title of the season?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,758 ✭✭✭✭bilston

I think our backline has the potential to play some lovely stuff today.

There are two big questions though

    1) Is there a place for that brand of rugby at test level?
    2) Can they stand up to the physical challenge of test rugby?

Wales' intensity in defence has dipped for the third test and they look out on their feet. Doesn't set a good precedent for Ireland.

Wales have barely changed their XV throughout the series though. Hopefully our better rotation will help us.

Ireland are much cleverer than this incarnation of South Africa . Better coached.

A couple of guys like Warburton and Roberts were involved in the mid-week hammering last week as well don't forget.

Great first half. The English defensive line speed is ludicrously fast.

I'm confused by that call by Nigel, I thought in a maul if you came through legally and bring down the ball carrier that is legal?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,067 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

    Australia are an awful team.

Phipps has to be dropped. He's brutal.

It is eerily quiet around here.

I'm going with an 11 point Irish victory today. Our pack will pulverise theirs.

    Wow!
That's a bold prediction. Fair play
I'm confused as to how much of last weeks collapse was because of
    A) altitude
    B) banjaxed players
    C) bok power
    D) all of the above
Hope for a win and looking forward to seeing olding and toh ...and Healy.
Healy with a counter attack winning try in the dying minutes!
    2 pt win

The noticeable shift in volume when they get the Afrikaans bit of the anthem... :pac:

For an anthem that can be rousing in certain ways, he absolutely neutered it. Like a boy band cover of it
