Yes the scabdanavians. No matter what they do day 2 and 3 . I can never see them win one.

They seem very flakey or something.

Here we go the kiss of karma there.

How many times in the course of the week is Howard Clark going to say "he's got absolutely no shot here" before said golfer nonchalantly strokes it onto the green or moves it up the fairway?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,698 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

I'm not even going to correct that. Cool word . Lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,698 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

"When you invade my personal space, you affect my ability to play golf."

    Who said that?

    Mickelson?

Think it was he turned to a TV camera and said it. Not sure if it was pointed at tv camera man.

Phil has played poor since (but chicken and egg)

I can understand some pros not liking the number of people inside ropes.

Or ones too close at least .

Love listening to Phil talk about his round.

He still loves golf after all this time. He loves this event.

I do worry about Rory - haven't seen him a lot the last while - he just comes across like he it is a grind.

    I could be wrong.

When did Rory change his putting back lads ?

Again - seen none of US open.

Not sure when he changed but he putted same way the US Open anyway. He's made a few swing changes this week too apparently though can't say I'd have the knowledge to say what they are exactly... Notice too he had to deal with more olympics questions yesterday, he really needs to draw a line under all that cr@p and move on.

Nice interview from Charl Schwartzel there. Wonder will this line feature in Nike's next ad campaign:

"I was with Nike for nine years. Time to move on."

Paddy - holding up the whole field on 7 , the drop was like trigonometry or something.

He did well to only lose one shot.

Rory is grinding, doesn't look happy.

We need to see more of Shane, hope he makes the weekend.

Say a few decades of the rosary if you want shane getting to the weekend.

Faldo is very good as a commentator.

I had more faith in him making the cut than Monty, I'm half way there.

Par 3 129 yards. 3 of the world's top 10 golfers on the tee. Number that makes the green: 0.

That's a great golf hole right there!

Way better than the 300y par 3 in the US open.

    Last night on BBC.

A portly man was playing fetch with his dog on the beach at Troon.
    Cue Peter Allis

They should be doing that the other way round.
He needs to cut down on the chips by the looks of it.

    :pac:

I'm just watching holes 6,7,and 8 on the open app. I've just seen some poor fecker take three to get out of the bunker on 8. It looks impossible to get out of it.

yes a lad in work who would play golf - said to me

    Is the open on ?

    Welcome to golf on Sky.

Classic Rory mess up with the short putts but super tee shot off 11 considering the two in front of him went OB

Shocking from Rory. They are the mistakes he cannot seem to eliminate.

Conditions are brutal now. Rory nails his tee shot on 13 and is still miles away from green. He was shocked it didn't go further

Yeah some poor feckers couldn't even hit that with driver. Ridiculous stuff altogether.

Some guys here are being played out of the tournament. It's another lopsided Open, unfortunate but that's just how it goes sometimes.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,698 ✭✭✭✭FixdePitchmark

yes only about 30 can win it now - ruined it a little as was a good event up to that.

Oh no, Paddy bogeys the last. Had been holding it together well.

At Even par going into the weekend. At -2 perhaps he had a sniff, but too far back now.

Who knows, the wind might blow on Sun afternoon and bring everyone back in. Think Lawrie.
