Another result I didn't see coming as The Punisher makes short work of the web-slinger Spider-Man to secure the last spot in the semi-finals.
I aim to post up the semi-final ties tomorrow evening. Okay folks we have our final four heroes and now it's time to determine the make-up of our final.
Since the stakes are higher, this time the first hero to reach 5 votes will reach the final.
The draw for the semi-finals have been made and so let's get to the first tie.Batman

It's a dark day, or rather a dark night (eek), for Professor X as Bruce Wayne's alter ego makes short work of Charles and swoops into the final.
Now we turn to our second and last semi-final to determine who will fight Batman for the tournament's crown...Wolverine

The Punisher
It's a battle of two badass characters here as the final member of the X-Men, the claw-wielding Wolverine, does battle with the gun-toting, vengeful vigilante, The Punisher.

Well, ladies and gents, we started off with 64 superheroes and now we are left with our final 2. It will be a DC vs Marvel showdown, a Justice League vs X-Men clash, and it will be up to your good selves to determine who will take the glory.
Here's how it will work: to ensure as much participation as possible for this final we will have a 24 hour time limit for receiving votes. In this final, simply put the hero with the most votes shall win!
(Note - in the event it's tied after the time limit expires then I will do a Ceann Comhairle job and cast a vote to break the deadlock.)
