Think Ronnie is in real danger, doesnt look like he'll overhaul this Barry is playing great stuff and doesnt look like fading.

Denis Taylor is the best commentator.

Can't stand Taylor. Always making god-awful puns just when players are about to take a shot and then a couple of mouthbreathers in the audience guffaw.

That should be a good final session tomorrow even between Ronnie and Barry!
Btw I love John Virgo commentating BBC commentating team, is great don't know why they added Ebdon to the team! Europsort have improved but they need to keep Joe Johnson off the mic!

Nice play there from Judd to win that first frame.

Jesus, Mark Allen has put on some weight since I last seen him play.

7-4 now, this is far from over.

I see a Mayo jersey in the front row. :)

Epic frame there, I thought Trump would steal it cos he got a few lucky bounces, he'll have learn to be more conservative to win the whole thing.

The game is finished he hasn't got the head to mount a comeback

Trump could rue that yellow at the end, he's played well but Ding is keeping him at arms length, could easily be 7-6.

Wow, massive pink and black now......

And that's that, massive relief for ding there.

Some interesting "fouls" from Ding yesterday evening...

Anyone else think they were deliberate ?

I was certain at the time the ball poke was deliberate and I haven't changed my mind since. He didn't even call that foul either, the ref did and the rye smile made it pretty clear he was sorry he was caught.

I don't want to accuse him of bad sportsmanship and descend this thread into an argument, but it didn't look good.

If Trump losses to Ding he'll have no one to blame only himself. Some very careless shots at crucial stages in frames and some poor shot selection have cost him so far.

Mark Williams said in an interview the other evening that he had a good idea what was wrong with regards the bounces/kicks on table 1. He said he couldn't say because he would be fined or fired (didn't hear what he said exactly), but that when the camera was off he'd say. Anyone know what that was about?

Trump is very over rated. His safety is terrible and he's one of the worst players with the rest.

I think he tries to imitate O'Sullivan.

Mark Allen tried to pull a fast one too, he must have known he touched the red with his cue. The ref did well to spot it, i suppose Allen had to pretend he didn't know he hit it.

This is brilliant, even the pros can't stand Virgo's commentary:

Has Virgo got "WHERE'S THE CUE BALL GOING??!!" trademarked or something? Or maybe he gets a cut of the tee shirt sales?

Honestly, there was a shot last night, and the cue ball wasn't within 10 inches of the pocket, and he was roaring his catchphrase.

    "WHERE'S HIS EYESIGHT GOING??!!".

Hendry and Davis for me too. I guess it's no coincidence that the two players with the most world championships between them are the best commentators on the sport.

Ken seems sound, but he's hilarious when he puts the circle or the cue ball graphic up. Really Ken, Ronnie wants the cue ball perfectly behind the difficult red he wants to pot? Who woulda thunk?
