Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yeah I had a pre-match bet alright. The only thing I'm thinking now is that it was in the "To qualify" market so unless that doesn't count (as it's not techincally on that 90-min match but on the overall tie itself) but there is nothing in the T&C to say that it doesn't

I had my prematch bet on the to qualify market and got my refund around midnight last night.

Something tells me, you are not the only one not having a refund yet......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 559 ✭✭✭DB74

OK the issue is because the bet was placed via the "Qualifications Match-Up section" instead of through the markets available when you click on the match itself so technically it's classed as a "Special" as opposed to a bet on the match. This is weird as I placed the bet directly via Oddschecker using the "To Qualify" market (and 11/8 was available elsewhere when I took 5/4 so not sure how 5/4 was anything special)

Anyway they have refunded the money as a goodwill gesture so alls-well-that-ends-well and lesson learned - Bet through website instead of Oddschecker

It's back (of course) for City - Real Madrid on Tuesday night!

Should be goals in this one. Will probably go with btts fh in this again, the old reliable.

Gone for a corner before 9:00 as qualifier at 5/6 - hopefully Navas starts..

Usually try and watch 10 mins before backing something but at the moment I'm considering these few:

    Real & BTTS 3/1
    BTTS in first half 3/1
    Bale to score 2+ 10/1
De Bruyne to score 2+ 16/1

    Under 6.5 at 1/66 as a qualifier

In play. City win btts 4/1 or city and over 2.5 10/3, will wait till 20th min, if it's 0-0 and City doing well I will take one of them then, should get on around 5/1 by then hopefully.
If there's a goal scored by the 20 min, i'll take a goal after 80.

    Playing it safe and Arbing:

    City +1
    Madrid Win

Boylesports are giving a free bet if either side hits the crossbar tonight. Useful for anyone covering themselves with ye old 0-0.

    the 0-0 is also 12/1.

Over 0.5 goals pre game. Then a hail Mary that I don't waste the free bet like the last couple of times. Chickened out of the corner bet last time.

    City dc for pre-match @1.42

    May wait and arb...

No Ronaldo. That changes things a bit.

btts fh has drifted out to 4/1.

Changed my mind, no Ronnie makes me want to take a chance on city pre match

Pre match City dnb 4/5. Can't see them losing
City over 2.5 5/1 after kickoff.

    Good luck all

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,346 ✭✭✭Lamposts

On Man City over 5.5 corners 1/1.

Probably do the standard BTTS FH when odds drift to 8/1 in play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

City over 1,5 team goals @2.25 to kick thing off.

I'm struggling to decide between De Bruyne AT or Man City & >2.5 goals.

Gonna follow you on this, you got it bang on with feynoord and ado reserves during the week and won be a decent chunk of money

Definite corners in this. Can you do multi corners in play??

Cant compare that i am afraid.
I knew Feyenoord wouldnt be too bothered and sent a weak team against ADO after the cup win. Just better informed than the bookies were in that case.

Here is the "logic" that when a team like wolfsburg can hit Real with 2 goals, City should be as well.

BTTS before kickoff, KdB AGS inplay.

    Under 5.5 goals pre game
Not sure what I'll be doing in play yet

Never heard of that market before! You must've gotten outrageously high odds.

    ??

    Poor attempt at a joke.

I'm gonna keep a strong eye out for a high corner count inplay. Specifically for Madrid if they're struggling to score without Ronnie

    Corner bet is a winner..

Think I'll go balls out now with KDB or Bale to score 2+.. Going to hang on to see what signs are in next few mins..

Feck, I couldn't find the Result & Under/Over 2.5 Goals market in-play, I went with De Bruyne AT. I still remember passing up the opportunity to do a bet on him in one of the PSG games. :o

    Bale 1st goal @7s

  • Registered Users Posts: 90 ✭✭JamesFitz

    Real extremely sloppy tonight.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,198 ✭✭✭buckfasterer

Madrid without Ronaldo are a completely different team. Gonna take Man City to score here to open it out properly. Been absolutely nothing decent to take a punt on yet for the free bet. Corners non existent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭djhaxman

Pathetic. Completely different game than was expected.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,346 ✭✭✭Lamposts

Aye, Jesus Navas hasn't done his usual spamming of crosses. Tempted by over 2.5 at 4/1. More wishful thinking though.

  • Registered Users Posts: 90 ✭✭JamesFitz

Iheanacho just came on for anyone who hasn't used their inplay yet...

  • Registered Users Posts: 746 ✭✭✭Thegalwayman

Backed 0-0 at 8/1 a few mins in

  • Registered Users Posts: 90 ✭✭JamesFitz

Someone post a stat telling me City always score loads in the second half 😂

Eh...not really, 58% of their goals come from the 2nd half.
