Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I can see John O'Shea popping up at the end to score the winner. At 40/1 (currently) its tempting!

I like your thinking and he's already nearly scored. Taken O Shea anytime @19.00 with the 'free' in play bet

Did a mugs bet over 9 corners

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 691 ✭✭✭ianburke

if o shea can't score there he never will. shocker all he needed was any sort of touch

  • Registered Users Posts: 90 ✭✭JamesFitz

Ended up taking O'Shea @23 there at half time, couldn't resist lol

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,762 ✭✭✭jive

Gone against my O'Shea hunch now cause we don't need a goal. 2nd goal to be a penalty @ 16/1, I'd be happy with no 2nd goal though!!!

Considered it strongly. Then went btts fh as normal.

    Should go with gut instinct.

Won my pre-game bet, but went with over 3.5 cards after about 65 mins so lost that as it finished on 3. Feel a little hard done by, surprised there wasn't a 4th card tbh.

Should have cashed out on Ireland when it was e125 but was losing e60 so was waiting on a smaller margin.

My other two hunches both lost anyway... Over 10 corners and over 2.5 goals(more for value than anything), id have been sick with the corners as it was 9 after 53mins.

If someone put a gun to my head I'd have went for the draw but thought I'd just try Ireland and hope for a memorable day.

So people in the UK get another shot at it in the England v Wales game. I assume that means that we'll get it as well for the Belgium game. Would be a bit unfair if not.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,386 ✭✭✭Wrongway1985

Threw 50 on Ireland draw no bet 11/8 wishful thinking maybe do something more productive with in play bet
Did a mugs bet over 9 corners

Not bad could have been so much better had we hung on

The offer is available for the Ireland game on Saturday.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

What we thinking for offer guys?

    Stuck in two minds of:

Belgium Pre Game 4/5 returns 40 Profit
    Ireland +1 IP 23/20 returns 2.50 Profit

    Or

    Belgium/Ireland Win returns 15 Profit
    Draw IP returns 75 Profit

Think my maths is correct? Then surely the Belgium/ireland way is better?

If somebody could confirm that be great

Doubt the draw will be 3.5 in play, will prob drop to 3.2 at the start of the match. Otherwise, yeah, the maths checks out

Aye, figured it'll drop a bit down, but still reckon it'll be over 2/1 or so. Just backed the Pre game bet there. Thanks Retalivity.

    In pay irl win 9/2

8.33 profit or 175 if irl win

  • Registered Users Posts: 90 ✭✭JamesFitz

    Any ideas lads?

Might go under 5.5 goals before the match and back the draw @3.5 inplay.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

    Pre match:

    Ireland clean sheet . NO @ 1.25

And see in play what i fancy.

Ireland just have to score 2 and all is good. :p

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,293 ✭✭✭Dio On The Doubles

I've gone for Belgium over 6.5 team corners pre game @1.80

I think that Ireland over 3.5 team corners @1.66 looks a decent pre game bet too.

I want to do the over 0.5 and under 1.5 goals.

It saves backing the draw and has two pay outs- 0-0 pays and 1-0 pays both bets, money back over that.

Its shortening too much though, 7/4 test, 13/8 an hour ago and 6/4 now.

Just losing all value and there's no way of doing it with overs to go the other way.

Getting tempted into either Ireland in play for value or draw in play and 1:2 pre game.
I think the draw is likely given our usual.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,976 ✭✭✭Trimm Trabb

Going over 0.5 goals pre match and draw HT/FT in play at 4/1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,459 ✭✭✭T-b0n3

Went under 2.5 first half like others have mention. Havent pulled the trigger on anything in play. Don't want to Ieave it too long though.

    Anyone see anything of note?

Went with the over 0.5 and under 1.5.

Sadly I won't click the maximum return unless Ireland lose on the basis of that half.

Least there's also no cash out temptation like last time when I passed on e125 just before Sweden scored.
As one rises the other falls so you need to let it run.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7 Pale Horse

Come on you boys in green!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 691 ✭✭✭ianburke

the runt would score today but when enhanced to 9/4 last week of course all he could do was miss. can see belgium getting 3 or 4 now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,923 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    went for 1-1 at 5/1

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,862 ✭✭✭✭inforfun

I need 2 more cards. Pity Clark missed that Belgian as that would have been a nice red.

That won. went in on over 3,5 cards @ 2.37 at ht but Belgium scored way too fast for that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 691 ✭✭✭ianburke

i've lost 12 of these since december. very bad run on the same market too. too stubborn to change now eventually one has to come in and at least it's a freebie.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,853 ✭✭✭Glenbhoy

Any mention of one for the Italy game? Can't see if the English lads are getting one for their match - what is the reasoning behind this new apportionment format anyway? Could their systems not cope and they wanted to streamline it? Hope they open the offers out to all after the group stage, as I fear there might not be too many more ireland offers!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,198 ✭✭✭buckfasterer

I assume this isn't happening on Wednesday night then?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,014 ✭✭✭ballyargus

no email as yet. Have to guess it isn't happening.

Wasnt there for the English match last night, so slim chance it will be there for the irish one tomorrow

We should surely get an offer for the France game now?

You would think so, apparently they say that the sturridge goal v Wales cost them 5M because of the refund offer, I'd take that with a pinch of salt though.

Boylesports can't be having a great tournament with the crossbar being hit more times than they could ever have anticipated, I've never seen so many shots hit woodwork as in this tournament, must be the new ball:)
