Xing The Land Beyond is releasing this week with a 25% off discount.

I have it on Rift and it's a 10-15 hour pleasure ride. Recommended!

That looks pretty sweet for a Skyrim junkie like myself.

Ace Combat 7 is plugged as VR compatible. Anyone tried it?

I haven't played it but I believe it's not the full game that is VR, just a couple of missions.

Same. Heard what is there in VR is excellent, but it's only a small part of the overall game

Yeah, only 3 missions, with vets being able to beat them in 10 minutes each. But, it is supposed to be one of the most immersive experiences to date on PSVR. I'll pick it up when it's cheap, or they add more VR support to it.

Nope havent tried it. Im sure it would make me sick after a few mins, but thats not whats stopping me.
I was enjoying the VR laps in Gran Turismo last year I ended up with a steering wheel setup!!
SO I know this would make me want to buy the correct controller :D

The VR section of Ace Combat is only about an hour long. So, don't buy it if it's just for VR content. The flat screen game is excellent though, making the game worthwhile if you just view the VR content as a bonus.

If anyone wants to swap their Ace Combat for Tetris Effect, I have an unopened copy.

Where did you buy Tetris Effect?

Haven't seen it in stock anywhere when I was looking

    This looks pretty cool.

Won't be on PSVR until 2020 though.

I got Resident Evil 7 as a gift over the weekend. Tried it last night. Lasted about 15 mins with the headphones in, then maybe another 15 mins with the headset on :o I didn't even make it to the first zombie before switching to the TV!

I think I'll be playing it the old fashioned way unless I'm feeling particularly brave sometime!

Yeah, I also found that a big problem, I think it took me about 20mins to go into that dark room at the very start of the game. One thing I will say is that once you get going its not actually that bad.

Finally got round to playing Thumper after picking it up in a sale a while back. What a bargain that was, it's like a psychodelic mix of Wipeout and Beat Saber!

I've put more hours into Thumper than probably any other game of the last 2 years. excellent

Picked up Xing last night, only played an hour but it's a really relaxing game in a weird way. Soundtrack is super chilled and it seems like an interesting mix of exploration & puzzles. Supposed to be 10 hours long too :)

I've been doing about an hour each night, it's never too hard to figure it out.

I once had lunch while sitting on an outcrop in Xing overlooking the bay, was really cool and after a while you forget you're NOT there ;)

kinda like the time I sat in the tavern in Skyrim listening to the bard and drinking real ale.

Won't be on PSVR until 2020 though.

I was wondering when Harmonix would make a move. Not going to judge this too soon, but it will be hard to create a Beat Saber beater without having, well, sabers. Doesn't seem to be much moving about in it, but at least the PC crowd can get it right before we get it on PSVR.

Can't see why they don't just re-release Guitar Hero in VR, same controllers but with motion detection, you are now the member in the band, see everything from their point of view, etc. The actual gameplay doesn't have to change. Think of VR Rock Band!

There is a Rock Band VR for Oculus I think

So Crisis VRigade....anybody played it? It's on the store for 5e at the moment but the reviews don't seem to be glowing, pity as it actually looks pretty fun in a time crisis sort of way.

Got Ace Combat a few weeks ago and finally got the chance to play it in VR today, wow is all I can say. It is incredible.

I heard the flatscreen game is good too, but tbh I'd only be buying it for the VR stuff so I think I'll hold off for a sale.

The flat game is very good aswell but the VR is a completely different level.

I'm finding myself getting more and more addicted to Beat Saber. I haven't played any other VR game in the last few weeks, instead focussing on BS to 'git gud' as the kids would say. Last night, I managed to finish 2 songs on Expert +, with NoFail on, and didn't feel like I missed the vast majority. Maybe I should keep concentrating on the Expert levels, but I feel playing E+ will make me better at them anyway. Reckon Elixia will be the first E+ one I finish with no boosts/help, just standard amount of missing, etc. Seems the most possible out of the ones I've tried, save for a few bits.

Actually getting slightly worried about my addiction. I have other VR games just sitting there, but nothing comes close to Beat Saber imo. Can't wait for more songs to try out, but E+ will keep me ticking over, as long as my arms last.

I've been tempted to try expert+ with the nofail but I'm holding off. I seen your scores on loads the last few days. Might stick it on for an hour now sure!
