Is GSW not a she???

Feck's sake, your gender should be compulsory on your sidebar information!

Anyway, I'm finally in for a show as it's being broadcast - looking forward to it!

    It's like Moby Dick liver........

Worst thing I ever saw served on a cooking show.

That's an awful lot of chicken on one plate....

Pear and almond tart is my absolute favourite - I'm very jealous of them eating that!

Give over wishing that you don't have to cook again! That's why you're there - to show off!

oh surprised at that, I thought the noodles dish would get through.

I'm so busy typing I didn't even hear their comments about her dish - did it go down well?

Fig or sardines. Difficult choice there.

Pardon my ignorance, but where did dates come into the equation?

Are dried figs = dates

Lots of praise for that still-has-its-heart-beating venison.

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,073 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

That big fella has a very fine touch with presentation!

  • Registered Users Posts: 29,073 ✭✭✭✭HeidiHeidi

Ah lads, what's with all the raw meat?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,248 ✭✭✭✭BoJack Horseman

There always seems to be a sense of snobbishness wrt meat.
If it's not bloody as hell, you aren't a foodie.

Ditto... We are philistines who prefer our animal flesh to be cooked, not waved at a warm light bulb for 2 mins!

For a dessert to be too big, too sweet and too rich for Greg, it must have been bad

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,486 ✭✭✭tinpib

Again I'll say is the standard higher this year than other years?

Do we not get any deluded whack-jobs to laugh at in the earlier rounds?

Anyway, that gynormous chap with the stupid tache who does seem like a genuine nice guy stood out for me, well his dessert wasn't great, but the comments on his other dishes made him stand out as a possible winner.

I liked the confidence of youth of the Portuguese fella, good on him.

Greg seems in great form this year, really boosting confidence by cheering when they get their 4 dishes plated up. Also he's loving his flirting with the more senior ladies:P

Lovely to see Shelina again :)

Thought the quack was blessed to get through after his sardine bomb-site. That Malia girl was sickened to go out and rightly so. She nailed her first dish.

    Great TV as always though.

Aha, so the critic's food choice isn't a surprise to them on the day after all!
