    Evans out, Simpson in.

    I have 2 FTs.

The sensible thing to do would be get Sanchez for Silva? Although he's now fit and Aguero is going to wreck it this weekend.

Assuming I go through with it I need to make up 0.9. I could do Dawson to Simpson or De Gea to Kasper S.

I need to use 1 transfer anyway but I'd potentially be wiser on defensive options after next weekend.

Any chance anyone would confirm that not getting Sanchez is the right thing to do? :)

Sanchez will explode soon. And i'll be glad i have him. He did score a hatrick in the reverse fixture but you'd imagine this one will be tighter. All the same i fancy Arsenal to get the win

Right, head been up my arse with various other ventures and not been in the FF zone for the first time all season.

Made a rather casual silly move last week which cost me a lot of points.

What would ya do with this lot, already shipped Souare for Cedric (was a toss up between him and Moreno and both were dropping) and despite a likely 0.1 loss on Moreno will probably be wise to keep 2 fts till after the Cup games.

    GK - Courtois.

    DEF
Toby (mci), Cedric (swa), Williams (SOU), Moreno (avl), Evans (eve and may be fit)
4 out of 5 away and tough fixtures for some. What 3 do you play here!? Moreno is pox but its Villa. Southampton not scoring much but are on form, funny feeling there will be goals for both sides in SWAvSOU, not great for my defence! Atm Toby and Evans probably benched and hope for the best. Could use my 2nd FT and get a Stoke def but can't see a CS there either.

It looks like a low clean sheets week, so I'm probably gonna let the defence sit even though it looks a bit ropey.

    Front 8
Sanchez v Mahrez, Alli v MCI, Payet v nor, Firmino v avl.
Aguero (c), Kane, Austin of all feckin people.

Austin is again expected to start this week, but he didnt last week. Pelle is back in can't buy a goal mode though so I'd probably see Austin getting decent minutes. Playing him ahead of any of the others though is probably just compounding last weeks stupidness isnt it?

I think Arsenal may shackle Leicester and Mahrez and part of me wants to bench my nemesis again!!!:eek::eek: He averages 7ppg all season but 12ppg when on my bench. :(

Benching Alli could also be an option he love those away games. Kompany back though so Spurs attacking bonanza probably unlikely so playing both Kane and Alli?

Again, a rushed post as I'm too busy to think about it properly. Any help appreciated!!

(RE Austin, Guardian have him starting but did last week too, FFS don't have him in the line up but say "Graziano Pelle returned to the starting XI last weekend, but Charlie Austin will be pushing for his first start in Southampton colours.")

ACtually just found this quote from Koeman about Pelle needing gametime.

“You saw that it was his first match after a long time he was out,” he said.

“He needs game time, he needs more physically in game time, and that was good. It was after five or six weeks and that’s a long time.

“He’s the type of player who needs game time and I expect Graziano this weekend on a higher level than he showed last weekend.”

    Looks like he'll start.

What a stupid move Austin was.

Not as stupid as my Ighalo to Paloschi move :pac:

I think benching Austin is the best choice really. Although I doubt there'll be a Mahrez brace on Sunday. Fun fact: Arsenal have won all 11 games they played at midday in the league!

Did the same move as yourself. It was a terrible decision really. :(

I don't have a strong front 8 (yet!) so I'll be playing Austin this week and hoping for the best.

It may be due to the strong antibiotics and steroids I'm on but I'm half thinking of benching Kane for Ighalo.

Madness or drug fuelled visionary genius???

I'd be looking to play both. If you have Alli, I'd bench him before either of them.

    never bench alli or mahrez
I'm sticking to this hard and fast rule !
people are forgetting how utterly horrific city were at the back last week!
a half for kompany is not going to change that !
arsenal are much more likely to shut out the foxes than city spurs IMO which is why vardy is currently on my bench

What to do with Alder? Apart from Swansea next week they've some tricky fixtures and then more than likely a blank in gw30. Don't trust his partnership with Wimmer yet despite clean sheets against Norwich and Watford. They may not fare as well against better opposition. Wouldn't mind getting rid for a differential but his 40% ownership is putting me off.

You're probably better off holding to see what happens in the FA Cup and GW30, but some potentially explosive differentials are Daniels, PVA, Ivan/Azpi

    Agree strongly. Don't bench Alli.

Yeah...leaning that way to be honest.

Kane has been disastrous for me all season and rarely performs in the really big games (open to correction of that but can't think of anything off the top of my head)

Also have Alli and Alderweireld so wary of being over-Spursy

Likely to do Alder to City or Chelsea def depending who goes out of the cup.

Lukaku going up in value tonight is strange.

I'm thinking of bringing in Borthwick-Jackson.

Surely he starts the next 5-6 games and it doesn't look like anybody is coming back to take his place.

Any reason not to take him in ?

Bench Mahrez such that I'll captain him. 24 guaranteed pts then alright :p ???

More seriously. Cedric Williams Moreno and bench Austin. Keep your second FT for injuries/suspensions and most importantly GW30-37 chaos ;).

This is good news. We should take advantage of the blanks/DGWs if so many players play like this .

    Who to bench??

    Payet-Mahrez-Firmino-Alli-Sanchez

    Aguero-Vardy-Kane

Crazy that I'm leaning towards Kane?

    Also who to captain?

Yeah. The only way the Austin thing could work out is if I keep him as bench warmer and he gets his place by GW30. Could do Kane to Vardy before 30 too.

Indecision means I havent made any transfer this week

So who gets benched from this front 8?

    Silva, Ozil, Alli, Payet, Mahrez

    Kane, Ighalo, Aguero

Silva was expected to be out so he may not see the full 90 and may be more susceptible to a recurrence.

That's what I was gonna suggest. Wait and see if he gest gametime. Pellé's back alright but if he does nothing, Austin could be given number one slot ;). For the time being he solves you the selection headache. Always look on the bright side ;).

    Similar conundrum for me with
    Sanchez Ozil Payet Mahrez Alli
    Aguero Lukaku Kane

Either bench Kane or play AOA since my defense is pretty week this GW and I don't see an obvious replacement. VVD Souaré Cawson (injured) Wollscheid (lack of Shawcross not good for Stoke) Simpson

I could play Wolly or get in Daniels. Can he get a pen again :p?

@lougal: So I'm not the one calling you crazy for thinking of benching Kane. City absolutely MUST HAVE to bounce back too after being outplayed at home by Leicester. You also have to go back to 2012 to see Spurs scoring more than 1 at teh Etihad. And before that was 2007.

As for captain. Aguero largely leading the FFS poll. Then Firmino. Then Lukaku. So Firmino if you wanna gamble. Aguero the safest option. Depends upon your ranking too ;).

@Dempsey: Similarly than above I'd bench Kane. Ighalo's not on his great first half of the season form but away to a leaky Palace these days.

GW27 is at the end of the month so they could get a few guys back by then.
I think rolling a transfer is a must this week and their highly unlikely to have a GW30 fixture. I'm not a united fan but they play Arsenal soon and he'd still be good value at a later date if your proved right.

Play Hennessy @ home to Watford
    Or
Butland away to Bournemouth??? Decision is driving me crazy!

Tough one, i'd drop Payet or Sancez on current form but either can explode at any minute. Leicester are very solid at the back, hard to see them conceeding many. Kompany back for City so could have Kane under wraps, I may drop Kane myself. I'll take a punt on Payet as captain and hope he returns to form against Norwich.
