Sagna for Fuchs or a Southampton defender perhaps.

Talk of Payet heading to China this morning, was thinking of getting rid shortly anyway but may wait until after this weekend

L'Equipe are reporting he will sign a new contract at west ham instead

Hmm... It may also be a manoeuvre from his agent to raise his contract .

Payet has very little chance of making the Euro in France (I think he doesn't get along very well with Didier Deschamps who reproaches him for his attitude within the squad). But he's having a good season so far and the Benzema/Valbuena sextape affair could open a few slots in the team. If he goes to China it's definitely bye bye to "our" Euro! I'd be very surprised if he doesn't stay.

Maybe Sanchez for Silva but I need to find a million somewhere else.

Moving Lukaku on this weekend isn't an option if Pulisball is broken. Although the more broken pulisball is the more defensive it'll get....

I left myself in quite a bad situation for this GW. My front 8 is:

    Mahrez Sanchez Payet Alli Deulofeu
    Aguero Kane Paloschi

Paloschi is playing a So'ton team who kept five clean sheets in a row, and now I'm really questioning what to do with him after only buying him last week. Deulofeu has to go eventually as well, but there aren't any midfielders that I could afford that have good fixtures. 1.3M itb, suggestions are badly needed!

You could maybe do deulofeu to lingard. Decent fixture this week and deulofeu has a blank next week and lingard plays.

you should be looking towards next gw as well. you could do something like Paloschi to Ighalo this gw, then Deulofeu to Arnautovic next gw. that would give you 7 to play next gw while being able to keep and just bench Aguero for his blank.

    gw26 &27 Ighalo: Palace(A) and Bournemouth(H)
    gw27 & 28 Arnautovic: Villa(H) Newcastle(H)

I would have suggested Vardy as well, but you're 0.1 short for that transfer, this gw at least

Paloschi to Vardy/Ighalo? Swansea have Southampton, Tottenham and Arsenal next.

Not really any midfielders you can buy that would be "undroppable" so you would have Paloschi and Deulofeu's replacement competing with each other to be benched.

Lingard looks tasty at 4.3 with some nice fixtures dotted around. You could pick him up this week to play against Sunderland and then get Vardy in for the Norwich game and the reasonable looking fixtures after it.

Deulofeu -> Khazri if you fancy a punt.

2 assists on his debut. Looked decent. Possibly on free kicks aswell.

I wouldn't drop a Swansea attacker this week, they could potentially have a run of NOR, bou, AVL, sto in a few weeks.

You could maybe do deulofeu to lingard. Decent fixture this week and deulofeu has a blank next week and lingard plays.

That actually could be a perfect transfer! I'd really like a cheap eighth player going forward the next half dozen weeks and he could be the man for it! Not sure if he's first team potential, but would do for this week anyways. Thanks!

Thing is is that I got rd of Ighalo for Paloschi and it would feel really bad getting him in again! I got Paloschi hoping to start him for last GW and this GW (and now So'ton look formidable in defence) and hoping he'd do well enough to start against Tottenham and then he has a great run like Ziegler said. I don't think I was thinking straight when I first brought him in, but now I'm reluctant to let him go on such short notice!

@Lougal I hadn't even heard of that guy Khazri! I'm not sure I'd want to play him against Man Utd this week though and West Ham after that. I badly need someone with an immediate impact.

Cheers for all of the replies! I think having a cheap midfielder and being able to be more free with my attackers could be the best move. I might do what Aennaes said to get Lingard now and then Vardy in for Paloschi if Paloschi turns out to be a fail.

Fair balls if you want to stick with Paloschi, personally i wouldn't risk it as he's unproven in fpl and with so many good and cheap options in attack - Ighalo and Vardy in particular. Also, next 3 Swans fixtures are very difficult. Up to yourself anyway. One thing to note, if you did do my suggested double transfer, you would then have the option to bring in Ayew (who has proven himself in fpl) for Arnautovic in gw29, right in time for their nice little run of fixtures as pointed out by Ziegler

I picked Paloschi over Vardy mainly because of Vardy's tough double away games. I also hoped that Paloschi would turn into the next Michu but I'm still waiting for that to happen :pac: I'll probably consider getting Vardy in for him after the Arsenal game, but I wouldn't have wanted him for the City and Arsenal games. Bringing in Ayew as Swansea cover does sound good, or Siggy as well, may come back to that plan in a few weeks!

I'd agree with this I'd do lingard this week and then paloschi to vardy next week though. Vardy has a great run of 9 fixtures has proved himself in the league and plays for a team that score lots of goals. As MM suggests you could move to ayew or siggy at a later date to take advantage of nice fixtures. You could also do kane to paloschi ahead of gw30 if kane has a blank and paloschi doesn't.

    Hi All,

When I finally thought I had a settled team - bang I started dropping 20 points a week for the last month on competition in my league!

I'm looking for suggestions on my team. Particularly in defense. I'm thinking of upgrading Smith to Darmain in defence.
Next week maybe Lakaku to Vardy. I'd also like to change Hennessy to Robles (Everton) as he will keep his place and Everton have a full team back fit. I also want another strong defender? Leicester? Ston? (the next Stoke)

    1.7m in the bank, 1FT.

    Hennessey WAT (H)
    Butland BOU (A

    Alderweireld MCI (A)
    Cresswell NOR (A)
    Targett SWA (A)

    Payet NOR (A)
    Firmino AVL (A)
    Alli MCI (A)
    Sánchez LEI (H)

    Agüero TOT (H)
    Kane MCI (A)
    Lukaku WBA (H)

    Substitute player Player information
    Hennessey WAT (H)
    Wollscheid BOU (A)
    Smith STK (H)
    Mahrez ARS (A

I'd consider banking it this week if I were you, much better position than me anyways! However you've got three attackers with no fixtures in GW27, so I'd probably move on Lukaku after this week as well. If Everton end up having a fixture in GW30, then I'd be more inclined to sell Firmino. You'll only really know what to do when the next round of FA Cup Fixtures are played to know who to sell I think. The only transfer I could see would be getting rid of the Stoke double-up (but their fixtures are very good). Wollcheid to Borth-wick Jackson could be a good move, and the player has potential for assists (actually, could plan ahead for GW27 with four good defenders).

I'd probably start Smith ahead of Alderweireld though. It's a controversial one, it's good CS odds vs aerial threat and poor CS odds really.

Gareth Barry is the answer. Apparently.

To sell Aguerro this week or not?

Blasphemy perhaps but hear me out.
I've given myself a headache anytime I've looked at a defensive transfer this week and now Reid is a doubt but for GW27 I've currently Lukaku, Firmino and Aguero missing and would be looking at a 5-4-1 formation. I've 2 FTs but will only use one.
    The Man city schedule....
GW26 Home to Spurs on the 14th
    Then Kun red flagged.
Chelsea in the cup on the 21st.
    CL on the 23rd/24th
    League Cup final 27/28th
Then gets unflagged and protected for 8 days. (I think.)
GW28 away to Liverpool 2nd Mar
    GW29 home to Villa 5th
Price protection comes off before GW30
If they need a replay with Chelsea it would be God knows when but before GW30.
Realistically I would be looking for a replacement for GW26-28 and the scary thing is Adebayor is top of my list!!

Are you assuming he's going to be injured?

No flags for blank GWs. I don't think enough people will sell to cause a price drop either although there is a lot of time between GW26 and 27

Ah. Thanks for that. I think Fingers was probably alluding to that as well but he still has a lot of games. My sell price is 11.3 but I'm not worried about the cost to get him back.

Should I sell Silva or is there somewhere else I should tweak the team

    Butland, Myhill

    Nyom, Bellerin, Daniels, Alderweireld, Ward

    Ozil, Silva, Payet, Mahrez, Alli

    Kane, Ighalo, Aguero

This is something I have been giving a little bit of consideration to also. I have 2 f.ts and no real move I want to make. It would mean keeping Lukaku for the blank as I'd prefer lukakus gw 26 and 28 fixtures and getting aguero in for kane in gw 29 once city were knocked out of the cup. I'll wait for team news on Friday.

Stoke are leaking goals like there's no tomorrow, get rid of Butland. Same goes for Ward, he'll be dropping soon as well. Silva is playing too deep and looks out of sorts this season, Sanchez could explode any week. Lukaku has a blank in GW27 but he's at home to WBA next who have seemingly abandoned Pulisball.

Obviously you're not going to be able to make all these changes at once. My advice is Silva > Sanchez first.

This week I'd say sell Silva anyway.
Sanchez would be obvious option but you have Ozil covered there. and not sure on your money situation. Lingard for Man Utd maybe, then you'd have extra 5.6ish to spread around your team in next few weeks if you need it.

But on what other poster suggested

No way I'd sell Butland over Myhill.
(no point changing a starting keeper(Butland) when your 2nd keeper (Myhill) isn't playing for their club)
If changing keeper-I'd do Myhill to Forster/Courtois/Schmeichel or Hart.

No real value in Cech as you already have Arsenal cover with Bellerin. And you couldn't get him anyway if you get Sanchez. (as you'd have Ozil-Bellerin-Sanchez).

Hennessy may be an option if you want to sell Ward and keep Palace cover. (palace have decent fixtures for next 3 weeks)

If changing defence, I'd start looking for team guaranteed games in GW30.
I think Stoke have a game so I'd keep Butland there probably depending if you change Myhill.

    Nyom/Ward-> Southampon/Leicester cover.
I still think Cedric is a much better option to Bertrand.
    Cheap Leicester defender: Simpson.

The rest your team looks fairly template, I'm getting impatient with Payet myself. From GW 28 on West Ham's fixtures aren't the best.
