Still very windy here in West Limerick with strong gusts.

The sustained wind is still pretry strong and the showers are frequent. A fine winters day.

Scary gusts all day here in West Clare, power at some point of the day while I was out, back now thank god. Wind somewhat lighter now, still very gusty though.

Kinsale energy gusting 64 knots at 4pm....a very windy period for the south indeed.

Clare isn't in the updated warning? Scary winds all day! Quite shocked at that tbh, although Met Eireann do seem to forget counties sometimes.

Tired this evening after a mostly sleepless night here near Tralee with the whole house awake at some stage from the endless wind and rain / hail overnight.
After a wet and windy day Sunday ( 20mm ) it turned progressively windy and picked up considerably from about 23.00 until it reached its peak from about 04.00 to 07.00 with regular gusts over 90 kph and a very strong constant wind giving a roar that I havent heard in a long time. Even after that the gusts kept well up hitting over 80 kph and more often into the 70's up till the early afternoon and slowly eased after that.

Rain gave way to clearer skies and big convective clouds in the afternoon producing big wintry showers of rain /hail / sleet and still gusting into the high 50's.

    24.6 mm so far today.

Bye bye Imogen ...the wind was the strongest ive seen outside Cork city all winter and relations of mine lost a 55 inch TV, Sky box from lightening in Killarney...Definitely the most destructive storm. Surprisingly my telephone line survived Imogen whereas Henry dropped it.
