I was sure they meant Michael Lowery... ;-)

Thought it was Matty Mc Grath.

Our car has a 777 reg and Chinese people have asked to buy it as they think it is good luck.

I had a Chinese guy reserve the number 6328 years ago as it’s supposed to
Be a lucky sequence of numbers.
Car sat for 4 months waiting for the number to come around.

Just had a look there. Couldn't find anything. Sorry. I wasn't in that area for too long.

Weird one today - on Church Road in Killiney I saw a Roll Royce Phantom hearse. It was on the other side of the road coming towards me so I only got a glimpse but from what I saw it looked convincing enough - the rear was obviously different to that of the saloon but it had the same style rear taillights. I'm assuming no funeral home in Ireland spent €500k+ on something like this and it's a replica - has anyone else come across it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,074 ✭✭✭✭Duke O Smiley

Yeah, I saw it before - it’s a replica. Very convincing at a glance all the same. It had Mk4 Golf headlights!

I have a photo somewhere, will dig it out

It has been doing the rounds for a few years. Not a Roller (can’t remeber the doner chassis)!

Jennings have one. Still a roller, but an older one tarted up.

If you were not mourning before, now you will

    It's a Fiat Doblo van.

    Actually looking at their website
    https://www.funeralvehicles.co.uk/new-vehicle-release/

The so called and badges Ssangying Chairman doesn’t seem to actually be a Chairman (which is a completely different saloon) but a Ssangying Actyon pickup with a box on the back

what a horrid creation, I think its based on an older rolls but is on a 131 plate (jennings one is anyway). Not sure how they managed that but I`d imagine its so heavily modded that it can be classed as a new car. Not cheap either and looks a but crap in comparison to a duffys e or c class hearse.

Aw Lymn in the UK have a couple of actual phantom hearses which look like an actual rolls royce in comparison.

What's even more unusual ,is a Dublin Coach that doesn't appear to be either broken down or on fire :):).

    Very cool car though.

Youd need a neck like a jockeys bollix to even drive that veto.

If it isnt, then its a damn good replica of the 25th Anniversary version.

Yellow Ferrari 360 driven by an elderly guy on the M6 (I think) yesterday evening. Also spotted a white McLaren, no idea which model, not long after the Ferrari

No problem. Here is what I saw earlier today. I get to Terenure very late when some cars already left as I wanted to get some better sleep after wedding I've been on few days ago but here some photos...

Didn't get any photos of any of DBS Superleggera's as they left while I was taking photos of other cars. Plus I only saw one there. The black one at Aston Martin stand, never saw other one... and sorry for few photos of CLK63 AMG Black Series instead of posting some other cars but I love this car and now I know that there is at least 3 of them in Ireland...

    Great pics Marcin as usual.

I’m 99% sure that Ferrari in your last photo followed me out of the show. I was in a red Porsche
