Isn't there some deal with Ford thought where you can't sell it? IIRC..

You can sell it any time, in theory, but you can’t flip it. if you’re selling it within the first year I think, you have to sell it back to ford.

I’m amazed any Irish owner passed the well documented rigorous qualification criteria, given the requirements, history and award process. they said the cars needed to be driven too and specifically not hidden away.

That said, there are plenty wealthy Irish with garages of cars in their homes in the UK or further afield.

I was told that both owners have revered car collections that they barely see the light of day and are rarely driven. Not too sure if that is the case as he didn't mention their names and I do not know them so have no idea of the truth in it (if anyone does know them feel free to PM me :p)

The allocation process itself is probably why cars ended up here, they spread the cars out by the looks of things and gave allocations to unusual people (some very rich and assorted collectors didnt even get one). I suspect the likelihood of seeing them driving about in Ireland is slim to say the least

I'd guess one belongs to JP McManus. If so it will likely make an appearance at Limerick C&C.

It's more likely his younger brother Gerry, he's the one with the collection, although I'm sure JP has a few tasty cars himself...

London Concours of Elegance. Nice, very nice. That blue LaFerrari look really good but One-77 is a car I want to get some proper photos of. Didn't see in a while but yesterday I saw one of those... Am I first here who saw it driving?

BMW in Carrickmines, Maser in Bray recently.

not sure if I read it here or elsewhere, but the McLaren F1 (reg K8 MCL) posted recently on by Cullow 123, is the still the fastest NA car in the world - 240+ mph. Speed was reached on the VW test track in 1998.

That Mclaren Senna on Dutch plates doesnt have to be lonely in its garage at nights.
That guy also owns a P1, several porsches and lambo's

    He is also racing lambo's

Nr 170 on the Dutch quote500

It's an F12. I don't think any 812 Novitec were sild to individuals yet.
