The guy is a bit of a twat but I also cant blame him for cashing in before he retires

Bisping also had little to no choice over who he was fighting. He doesn't have the drawing power to match make for himself. The UFC presented him with Hendo + GSP and he would've been a fool to refuse either of those fights. This whole ducking sh1t is completely made up.

Also he has absolutely no plans to go near the title again. This fight or the next will be his last.

Last will be in England in the summer I reckon and I'll be 100% going, his walkout alone does be epic live.

London in March and apparently Liverpool in February. Ya reckon they'd do another card in England during the summer? Would 100% try get over to it myself. Absolute legend.

Yeah doubtful they'd have 3 or even 2, hope he doesnt retire in Cali where he lives, bit close for him to fight in feb or march surely he needs a break but who knows if he wins next week.

Anyone hazard a guess at how much tickets for Fight Night in London will run for?

£75-£300 is my prediction. Maybe more if it's Bisping's last stand.

There'll be a cheaper option then £75 for sure. Starting from £40 I'd say

If there is there will be about 50 tickets at that price and they'll be gone in seconds.

Actually I take it back. I was guessing at the £75-£300 price.

UFC Manchester was £75-475 (plus fees).

I know that was a numbered event PPV with Bisping defending the title but it was also at 2am local time.

If Bisping is on the card I'll guess the same as Manchester.

    London 2016 Fight Night -
    P1 £167.25
    P2 £140.25
    P3 £112.25
    P4 £85.25
    P5 £57.25
    P6 £46.25

    London 2017 Fight Night -
    P1 £200
    P2 £135
    P3 £105
    P4 £80
    P5 £60
    P6 £40

Will be similar enough I'd imagine.

No it wasn't. I was at the Manchester card and paid no more than £55 in total for each ticket.

No. There is a lot of tickets at the lower prices usually

Apologies, I was looking at the wrong Manchester card. The £75-£475 was for a Fight Night.

The Henderson title fight was £40-£200 plus fees.

    We'll agree to disagree.

That's not my experience, particularly for high demand events.

The O2/Manchester arena are both great arenas. Even the cheaper seats have great views.

    O2 London?

I was in the cheap seats for UFC 85 and thought they weren't great. I was literally back row though and in the "corner" of the oval so probably the worst seat I could ask for, lol.

Mid tier with a view into the cage is perfect in any stadium I find, just the right medium distance away I dont like too close or too far, 125 I paid for my seat in Manchester it was well worth the money too.

Yup. Best seat I ever had was UFC 95. Side on, 11 rows up the tiers. Got them half price on eBay too a few days out.

Front row is grand at a wee local show but front row at the UFC isn't great. Too much stuff ahead of you.

I actually bought my tickets off yourself for Manchester, absolutely great view.

Indeed. We both did well out of that one. Both great seats.

219 tickets go on sale friday with no main event announced yet.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,197 ✭✭✭maximoose

Bisping said on the MMA hour yesterday than London in March will definitely be his last fight

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Jeez Nate vs Woodley rumoured to be a possible main for 219.
Nate at 170lbs vs a strong grappler - we've seen this before and it's him being controlled and thrown around (Rory and Kim). This goes the same way.

Nate vs any good wrestler is a bad match up never mind at WW.

    Woodley would absolutely destroy him.
