I'm interested in the Parkside Petrol Lawnmower that will be in from Thursday 7th. Cannot find much info on their full spec...any idea if they are the same brand as Florabest?

Seeing as the thread has turned into a general Lidl thread as opposed to a weekend savers one, has anybody else's Lidl started playing piped music over the speakers?
My local was doing it at the weekend. No problem with it but it just seemed unusual for Lidl.

I haven't noticed this over the past few months in Dublin, but they were playing muzak since before Christmas in Castlerea. The same five chirpy pop songs over and over again. Loud enough to be annoying, but not enough for anyone to hear the lyrics, although I could have sworn one of them had a chorus of "happy happy, happy happy".

The Parkside specs as stated in the leaflet match those for two Lidl models on the Briggs & Stratton site: Parkside PBM 450 C2 & Florabest FBM 450 B2

The only difference between both is the badge on the grassboxes, (though the box handle itself looks slightly modified and 7 (rather than 5) cutting heights on Thursday's offer).

Smyths Toys are sold out and their online shop seems overloaded.

A few regional options, google 'trampolines ireland'

Funsize! Because big fruit is such a downer and no one wants small.

They look nice but they are chopped and shaped so more like a cheap nugget than a goujon

I cant stand that, switched to the packs of drumsticks and thighs ages ago because of it, everywhere started doing it at the same time aswell but the Aldi and Lidl ones are particularly bad, salty spongy mush.

Avoid the gougons if they say "formed " cos they're crap , the breaded mini fillets are still nice ( not mad on the "southern fried " )
