Played in the open competition last night. I had 12 birdie putts in the 18 holes and didnt make any of them.

Had 14 pars, 1 bogey, 2 double bogeys and a treble bogey for the handiest 0.1 of the year

Game is in Tatters and handicap is badly suffering. The move to a new club this year is not going well at present. A lot of work and improvement required.

Nice cut there of 2.8 (-7 vs CSS)... Had a great round, but feel like I left a monstrous score out there. Was chipping out from the trees a lot after some bad driving and several 3 putts. Irons were very flush which felt great!

Well the handicap has now drifted out to 13 after the Sunday Medal which was yet again another shocking display. Poor golf compounded by poxy weather. Being honest I was very tempted to walk off the course but out of respect for my playing partners I completed the round. Still looking for that moment of inspiration which will turn my game around.

First round of the club matchplay singles on Tuesday will be a welcome change to the recent drudgery of strokeplay.

first cut off the year, well first cut in over a year and a half to be exact. vs par comp at the weekend finished 5up, was enough to get a cut of 0.4. step in the right direction to get to 9.4
