Blatant knock on on the lead up

    Lovely try.

Should have been a penalty to Munster before but it's been coming for a few possessions.

Lovely line to finish the try.

We should have had the penalty though

Great try. Should be disallowed for the offside, and probably will be.

They can't look at that. It's more than 2 phases before the try.

Jackson adds the extras. He's having a great game so far.

Dreadful from the ref not to see that.

poor decision from the ref. Who have munster got as a leader with stander off?

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,604 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Last week felt munster should have had their try disallowed, ulster should have lost that one, and Leinster got jammy yesterday.

    Poor connacht.

Would be blaming the TJ for that I think as the ref was blocked by the ruck?

He is in terms of his own ability but he's not organising the back line well enough in the 22, lot of confusion out there and everyone standing too flat.

They can't look at that. It's more than 2 phases before the try.

I don't think 2 phases is the actual law is it?

Anyway looked like ulster would've scored anyway.

They would have scored anyway, the foul didn't really create the try. Which is kinda fair.

This Munster defence is very well organised. So much better than the last couple of weeks.

Nah wait till half time, when they'll spend half of the commentary time playing bits of what he is saying :D

We might here some clips at half time - that's the way they did it last week at Thomond Pk.

Specified in the IRB TMO protocol.

Law 6.A.7 iv, to be precise.

It should have been a penalty for offside and Munster ball so how could they have scored anyway? Game is tight enough as it is so those decisions count

Tommy o donnell putting in a massive shift so far

Good effort by Munster, but in fairness, good defence by Ulster.

    Great kick from Keatley there.

Yeah, but that is specifically different from a piece of foul play that creates a try which was impossible to score legally. (for example, obstruction, forward pass, crossfield kick to offside player).

Schmidt will love that from McCloskey

The point is ulster didn't get an advantage from the knock on. It's something I agree with. I'd be much more annoyed if the opposition got an advantage that was missed, like a clear forward pass or sealing off at the ruck. The reality is a bobbling ball at the base of the ruck didn't give ulster an advantage.

What did O'Leary do to get told off there?

Every time. I often confuse him for a lock out there.
