Wailin you might get lucky. I wasn't charged nor was any comment made about my extras on the last import (was 23 months old at the time) with over £9k of options - £4k of which were itemised on the original sale paperwork provided with the cars history. The rest was dealer fit upon delivery.

    Good luck!

Sent my car details off to a crowd called Zucars for a valuation. I think they are part of the keary group in Cork.
They offered me just over 27k for it.

How long did it take them to get back to you with an offer after you sent it in?

I sent the details/photos one evening and got email offer the following afternoon and a follow up a few days later.

And don't be surprised if it ended up appearing on Keary's forecourt as a BMW AUC for 10k more like this one:

I see bmw first service subscription is back down to €4.90 but it's now only 10% off.

Still showing 7.90 for the basic one here:

They must be on holiday at the minute so, I sent one off last Saturday.

Just take 15 to 20% off what your car is worth. You’ll probably be close enough.

Hmm strange bazz. I cancelled mine before it went to €7.90. Got an email a few weeks later from them and I clicked the link and it was still at €4.90.

I cancelled too but didn't receive any email enticing me back like you did. It's a strange stance now given that it looked like the price increase was sort of designed to get people to cancel because they were losing money on the service. I wonder has main dealer servicing dropped off a cliff since then and prompted them to reintroduce the lower rate? €5 a month is worth it for the replacement wipers alone.

Is it? You can get OEM wipers for like 30 quid online.

Been there, done that. I've gone through a number of different branded "OEM" type wipers bought online and they all end up squeaking or streaking across the windscreen. The main dealer ones don't suffer the same faith and last longer for some reason even though they are made by Bosche too.

On the F30, the wipers are Valeo VM371 24" and 19". They're on eBay for around £20 or £30. Or you can pay multiples of that at a dealer for the same thing.

As I said above I've been there and done that. I've bought Bosche wipers online that were cheaper and they streaked and/or squeaked after a few months. Never had the same issue from the ones fitted by the dealer so there is a difference, cheaper doesn't necessarily mean better. I had them replaced back in June before I canceled and the ones that came off were on the car a year and still streak/squeal free too. Also that 4.95 a month covered replacement xenon bulbs fitted also.

Went all the way to 290kmh in M7, I wonder why he didn't go up to M8?

He usually does those test drives on the speed limitless section of the Autobahn so could have ran into a "slower" Porsche ahead of him. :P

Lovely cars and appear to be reliable and well spec’d. Most of them are E220d which have the 2.0 diesel which is a lot quieter than the older 2.1 but still economical etc but have good power and performance. AMG line models look well but 19’in run flat tyres

just changed from a 2018 e class in February to an A6.

The merc was a 2018 E220 amg spec on 20" alloys.

Economy was Fantastic averaging 55mpg in old money.Ride comfort Excellant on motorways and back roads but hit a pot hole with the 20" wheels and your in trouble. i busted 2 tyres over the two years.
    Sat nav is prehistoric.

A great all round car but just a bit stale for me.

55mpg is phenomenal for a car like that.

How are you enjoying the A6 3.0 Quattro you replaced the e class with?

It’s up there with the golf R I had as been one of my favourite cars.

I love the sound, power delivery of the 3 litre and the ride comfort is unbelievable even on the 20’s.i suppose no run flats are making the difference.

Getting into my mrs f10 definitely feels like a step down .
Technology is on a different level.
