David Haye comeback.

yeah Briggs is a headcase but I think he's playing upto his limited supply of catchphrases. You see him stop during the video & laughing to himself so I think he's just playing upto the cameras to hype a potential fight and build up a load of content that they can replay in the weeks leading upto the fight and generate interest from.

I just think Haye's body language & what he said were very different today compared to a week ago(or so) when Briggs gatecrashed his press conference. That day Haye was giving back as good as he got.

Whatever about Briggs being annoying/mental sick, and Haye being a con artist at best, Haye would do a serious number on Briggs.

Aside from Eddie Hearn's well documented smugness, what else is apparent in this video?

I don't think his fight on the Haye undercard will go ahead. The British boxing board of control won't sanction it.

Check out his instagram, he is a character. He definitely changed his life around for the positive after a few dark years battling demons. If he gets a few big fights, he deserves it, because he did it all himself i think he should be applauded

Haye saying he will fight Briggs later this year is something I took as a throwaway comment tbh. Something that could happen if things fall that way but not set in stone.

Suits Haye in fairness, Briggs will get attention for the fight, Haye can make it out like it is something then, some sort of achievement, it will gather a bit of momentum behind him, sky and Hearn will pretend Haye taking Briggs apart must make him worthy of title contention.

Ticket sales and PPV numbers will be huge. Haye will flatter to deceive and get knocked out.
