Padair, is this the best box for Kodi? And also if I order the terrestrial tuner can I pick up a sattlite tuner alone later on if I put it into another room?

I have the DVB-S version of this box, and have added a USB tuner for Saorview. It does work. However, it's a bit glitchy on HD channels at times, which I think is possibly a software bug, as I've read a few bits about HD DVB-T channels causing problems over on the Wetek forums.

I'm scrambling here to catch up buy could someone please tell me if the following assumptions are correct...

1) It's a KODI Android box
2) You can use as a replacement for a dreambox sky player
3) It streams like a chromecast.

Anyone know I'd this would be worth getting for the Kodi aspect alone?

For just kodi its not worth the extra. An MXIII box would be a better bet.

It starts in January 2015 so has come along way in the past 12 months.

Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 -> not even 4.4, how long will apps support 4.2.2?
Ethernet: 10/100 Mbit -> yeah okay not 1,000Mbits but fine
USB 2.0: 5x (3 external, 2 internal) -> no USB 3.0 but probably not needed

for this price though, it is very tempting!:)
