Two tries in return from Bordeaux. Clermont not really concentrating after that start.

clermont gone to sleep. 14-14 now

BT commentators talking up Dan Biggar. He has been excellent over the past year generally but his form has deserted him this month ahead of the 6N. Playing fairly mundane stuff here again as he kicks the ball dead from a promising position in Chiefs half.

Exeter are pumped up but only a 7 point lead for their efforts in the first half when they had a good wind behind them. Ospreys look pretty heavy legged after last weeks efforts.

    Anyone's game yet.

If they hold out, it would be the result of the tournament and pretty much spell the much foretold end of this Clermont team as a European heavyweight, I reckon.

Scott Baldwin with an incredibly stupid yellow card at a critical point in the game. They got early points in the second half and had Exeter back in their own 22 when he shoulder charges Waldrom off the ball.

clermont have been awful since the 2nd try.

try clermont. rougerie brought on and makes the break.

Baldwin's stupidity tells and Exeter go down the other end for a try. We could see something incredible if Bordeaux hold out and Exeter get another try in the last 30 minutes and denying Ospreys the BP. Exeter would top the pool on 16 points by virtue of a better head to head against the Ospreys.

Ahhhh, only 3 x 2nd place teams qualify, so Ulster are gone. :( That's unfortunate.

BP for Clermont, two tries whilst man in bin for Bordeaux.

    TBP clermont.

TBP Exeter. Ospreys are gone; they're out on their feet, I think last week took a lot out of them and they've really struggled to lift themselves here today. Credit to Exeter who have hit them on the counter repeatedly.

Clermont going to play most of the rest of the game with 14. Game on at 28-20 and Bordeaux deep in Clermont territory.

dumb from bardy, only on for like 2 minutes now yc.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,203 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Bardy, who has always been a bit of a dirtbag on the pitch, picks up Braid in a maul, flips him and drops him. Yellow card and could have been more.

Try Bordeaux 28-27. This game not over by a long shot.

try bordeaux, gonna be epic last 10

If Bordeaux score another try and all else remains the same, all teams finish on 16.

Try for Bordeaux from the ensuing penalty. 28-27 now with a man in bin for Clermont. Conceivable that all 4 teams finish on 16 points now if Bordeaux score another try!

    who wins the group then?

Ospreys need to get word to AWJ to take 3 points before looking for the winning try just in case Bordeaux get another score.

    Try Bordeaux!

    try bordeaux

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,203 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Oh my f*cking God. Bordeaux try.

    This is insanity.

    TMO checking for knock on.

Bordeaux dominating now. Deny Clermont the LBP! As it stands Clermont go through. Exeter also on top.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,203 ✭✭✭✭Buer

So Clermont go through at moment by virtue of points difference. Ospreys or Bordeaux getting any sort of score changes that.

Bordeaux have a kick to deny the LBP!
