I did okay in the Clare constituency debate but the Television constituency will be tougher, it's only a three seater :(

    I know it's late ...

but before you go to bed you should buy Cash: The Autobiography of Johnny Cash, by Johnny Cash

    It's great.

I know you'll wake up tomorrow and think "That bollix Skid made me do this " but the book will arrive and you will love it. it's a superb book which opens the door to the soul of one of the greatest performers ever.

Go on, you won't regret it.

search for "Cash: The Autobiography" and buy it from your favourite online book store.
I have four of them. My wife keeps buying them in 2nd hand shops. Next time we have a party I'll give them out in goodie bags.

No reflection on the book. I've read it twice

How come Nerney didn't sing? He should have sang that song about how he was born on a frosty morn the first day of November and the nurse she said what a sh1tty little head but he he can't remember :)

Enjoyed last night's show, just thrown out all my Lou Reed and Stooges records to clear space for some Charlie Pride :D

I see no reason why the LLS can't do a Country Music special every year - although next time...less anecdotes and Brian D'arcy, more music :)

Hi GSW. I sent you a PM but it appears your inbox is full.

I'm not very familiar with this system. Will you get it when you make room or do I need to re-send it?

That Wagon Wheel song is originally by Bob Dylan ... not a lot of people know that, as they say.

Another classic country tune penned by Robert Zimmerman was It Ain't me Babe, as sung by Johnny Cash and June Carter-Cash (Wagon Wheel, Johnny Cash ... this thread always comes full circle if you hang in there long enough)

Here's Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon giving it a lash in Walk The Line ... I still think Joaquin deserved an Oscar. #OscarForJoaquin #AhGoOn

Well if whoever he is with or will be with will be a lucky person. He said in an article in july 2015 that he was single and he would date a fan. :):)
