Apparently Ryan Tubridy is going to present dressed as Woody from Toy Story.

He should be able to carry it off as he's already less life like than a wooden puppet.

Okay, the lineup is not as horrendous as expected. Sure, there are some awful acts in there, there are some I have not heard of and there are the older, much better singers.

I really don't know if there's enough drink consumable to make me enjoy this.

I could go on pure whiskey seeing as it's sort of a western-moonshine theme to the show :D

    Happy Friday/Bank Holiday weekend!

I'm not a fan of Irish country music but I must admit I grew up listening to Ray Lynam, my mother was a big fan.

This song is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I also like wee Daniel (not his music).

I had an elderly neighbour who was very ill a few years ago and she was a massive fan of Daniel's. He happened to be performing locally and called to her house and drove her to his concert. I was very impressed by him, he really is very generous to his fans.

    Evening all.

Country and western music is all very well in its place - as long as that place is about 2,000 miles away from here.

I hope its good, there was something on the radio this morning about it: but the accents sounded a bit "oirish", very put on. I hate that.

    Paul O'Connell.

    Legend.

I don't even want Mr. T to pretend he knows anything about him, it's just wrong.......

I have a picture of him in "gsw's bar"..... :)

I like Joe a lot, he comes across as a decent guy, his interview is a breath of fresh air, beats listening to the likes of Cody who speaks in riddles and gives little of his true feelings away.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,050 ✭✭✭✭The Talking Bread

Far too early for this interview. Typical Irish stance........'look at the positives'. No point patronising the bloke. Hes had a rough week.

How many times will Tubs need to refer to his cards for player and team names?
