People making their powder drinks on the changing room benches.
It absolutely does my head in because 9 times out of 10 they leave a mess & never bother to clean it up.
Always happening in a particular gym I go to on Jervis St.

It's a big problem in any of the BD gyms I've been in. It seems to me that those gyms draw a particularly lazy, manky 'fcuk everybody else' type of dzope.

A very small minority but enough to drive me off.

Apart from just throwing rubbish all over the changing rooms, pishing all over the jacks, they leave every plate and weight all over the floors and gum just basically everywhere.

Attention whores, pure and simple. They're doing it to show you how hardcore they are.. They're idiots.

As for BD gyms. I train in Northwood, the changing rooms and wet area's are spotless ~ despite the ignorant fooks who spit/snot in the showers, who leave their crap everywhere. The locker room staff are brilliant, but the rest of the staff are deplorable. Its like they've been instructed not to talk or engage with the membership.

And well, the majority of the membership reflects that ignorance.

Really I think that's a bit of a stretch. I'd say it's just people trying to get in there gainz in the "anabolic window" that everyone thinks is 30 minutes long for whatever reason.

Is it annoying to be using a squat rack for one exercise and then to move onto another exercise after using the same squat rack? I think I may be annoying

What? Like doing squats and then using the rack for OHPs or something?

Nothing wrong with that. You're using them for training. If someone wants to work in, they can ask.

yeah exactly, i feel a bit greedy, my gym tends to be quiet enough anyway

I did squats today in the cage, afterwards did OHP in the same spot. Then weighed pull ups and ladder off the end of the cage.
Then back to the pins for some fat bar work.

    Confirmed prick.

Squats then OHP while I give my legs 60-90 seconds before squats again. If u didn't OHP id just be standing there for the time anyways

So glad I'm not in a commercial gym anymore. I'd be that guy everyone is complaining about hogging a rack and taking 2-4 minute breaks between squat sets and having about 8 sets to go :D.

It would make sense if they were using insulin PWO.

Its not. They're attention whores, idiots. A bit more time in gyms and you'll realize this too.

Its the same dopes who walk around with I.L.S. (Imaginary Lats Syndrome) after just a few months training. Idiots take on this stupid walk/stance like they've suddenly realized they're fooking HUGE after a few months training and a bag of creatine.

No doubt some people are doing it because they crave the attention. Showing others how hardcare my smashing a shake right after training.
But there's also a not insignificant amount of people who think they have a very narrow window to effectively take protein. It's something that pops up regularly in posts on here (as a serious belief and also as a pisstake)

Effective supplement marketing and Broscience is keeping this one going strong

The I.L.S suddenly becomes faaaar more pronounced the second a pretty lady walks by. Its like the idiots are pretending to carry barrels under their arms.

Thought you where calling me an idiot there for a minute :D.

Ah I still disagree I mean unless it's changed in the last two years. But when I was in commercial gyms everyone was getting into that "anabolic window".

Only happened once but a huge bodybuilder guy in the gym was warming up with just the bar and decided to just drop it to the floor making a very loud bang. Totally unnecessary.

I knew exactly what that song was going to be before I clicked on the link.
Grand if used sparingly but you're not the first person I heard with that complaint.

Went back to a commercial gym for the first time today in years, a new one opened around the corner so I plan to get in early doors ~6:30 am before all the messers get in. As it's new everyone is keeping it tidy in the weights area.
The lad that dropped his deadlift and made the whole floor shake even apologised saying it was a failed lift.

I did make a quick shake when leaving the dressing room though. Heavens to betsy!

An elderly woman who uses the cardio equipment in my gym cut two young girls to bits over not wiping rowing machines down.

Only right that someone had a quiet word and gave them a reminder but she lectured them from a height, very condescending and persisted for 4-5 minutes.

Worse still is I'd never seen the girls in the gym before, so they've been given a pretty bad experience starting out. Needless.

There certainly are attention whores, but I'm quite certain there are also people who genuinely believe if they don't get whey into them within minutes of lifting they are missing out on gainz.

There's a bloke in my gym( northwood) who is completely off his trolley to the extent I'm pretty sure he's dangerous.
He spends hours throwing spinning kicks into a pad he brings with him and fixes to a machine.
While he's throwing kicks he's whooping and hollering in a most alarming manner.
I've seen him kicking locker doors shut too and he eats his packed lunch in the hydro pool.

No idea why he hasn't been barred yet

Probably afraid of getting a spinning kick to the face!
